Huge array of different stones, gems and minerals from all around the world. One of the biggest collections I've ever seen and for very reasonable prices. Definitely worth stopping by.

If you are in any way interested in rocks crystals gems or fossils i highly reccomend a visit to the big tasmanian rock shop.. Tony opened the shop for me to allow me to choose an 18th present.. i was absolutely blown away by the range of items on available and the depth of knowledge Tony has .This is not just a shop.. this is a museum collection and a life's passion .. you will not be disappointed w!

Absolutely amazing! The gentlemen was awesome, friendly as! 4 rooms and heaven! Most definitely worth a visit, if not just move in there. I didn't want to leave.

We arrived at a closed shop late morning but called the number on the door and the owner came within 20 minutes. It was worth the wait. What a fabulous collection of rocks he has from all over the world as well as local Tasmanian rocks. He has at least 5 rooms of well organized rocks and he told me he has more rooms out back. What a fun place to browse or add to your collection like I did.

Beautiful stock in store. Something for everyone. Friendly owners. Fun for kids as well. So reasonably priced. My favourite shop in Tasmania!

This store is amazing and the prices of everything is perfect so no absurd mark-ups of any pieces!! The prices of everything is based completely on its value. There is a HUGE variety of rocks/crystals,etc. to choose from and no matter if you are a child with $1, or an adult collector with thousands to spend, there is something for everyone. I have never seen a store in mainland Australia that was as amazing as this one in Tassie. I am so sad that I can't visit this store every day since I live in QLD but I'll be back someday soon!!!!The owner was helpful, very kind, informative and passionate, and the customer service was excellent! Dreaming of my next purchase!*I must also add that if the store isn't open, call Tony and he will personally go to the store and open it for you to look!***Notes on if you live far away**: Tony cannot mail pieces to you. As far as I could tell, he doesn't have employees, so he's working on this mostly by himself or with family, and the tech and post side of it would be more of a hassle than it is worth to put energy into. If you would like something, you have to go there and visit, sorry! It is definitely worth the trip!
