I used to have walks along the Barwon River as I was rooming there in 2016.I visited a lot of parks and reserves in my lifetime. But this is just nice and peaceful, if you want to have time to yourself.

We stopped over to do a bit of fishing, it was a nice cool day. There are restrooms if you need them, also it's a nice walk round the lake ☺️

It's an okay spot to throw a line in and have a walk. A reasonable walking track but not too exciting.

Wonderful spot in the Barwon Heads wetlands, special in the evening, on full Moon It's majestic! It's possible to see a large variety of birds fishing

We met great locals, the atmosphere is serene & peaceful even though we only caught an eel,All in all it was an amazing experience & we were close to facilities so it was good for the kids.

Good for a fish if you're there at the right time. Try heading down on an incoming tide. Head to Apco Barwon heads for tidal info.
