Float Lab - North Beach | Floatation Therapy and Infrared Sauna

What a beautiful experience. Establishment is clean and inviting. The staff are amazing and friendly and are happy to answer any questions. I really enjoyed by first float and have already rebooked for my next one. If you need to re-set and have some time to yourself, becalmed float is just what you need!

Incredible!!! The facilities are luxurious, along with the high quality products. This is my second float - comparing Float Lab to another company they have exceeded my expectations. The float itself placed me in a meditative head space - to say I’m relaxed is an understatement. I was given a fabulous treat of a Becalmed float. The whole experience from start to finish was fabulous. Enry was very professional on reception duties. The float area itself was spotlessly clean and had lovely fluffy towels. I loved being in the float and felt very relaxed. All in all a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend it. Such a relaxing experience. Highly recommend. The studio looks amazing and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I was made to feel very welcome and as a first time floater the explanation given before my float was great. All facilities are very clean. Left feeling like a new woman.

Had a great experience here. The atmosphere here is very relaxing and pleasant. Everything is clean and tidy. You can tell the towels that are provided are clean and they come lightly scented, which makes for a luxurious feel to it. The rooms where the pods are, are very well set-up so there’s no hassle whatsoever. Everything is provided for. I felt relaxed and rested, revitalised after the session and I was feeling a whole lot better with my neck and shoulder issue that is caused by my scoliosis. Highly recommended.

I am naturally a busy person with active roles in Sport and Business. I had heard about Floating but never made the time to try it until recently.It’s fair to say my first float was just ok, I enjoyed it but was not totally convinced. The staff at Float Lab were very professional and explained Float Lab rooms are specially built to reduce sensory stimulation, apparently the secret to what makes float treatment work. Because of the environment it can take a few sessions to acclimatise properly. The technical term for floating is Sensory Deprivation. This made reasonable sense so I decided to rebook. Interestingly despite my doubts I felt relaxed and slept really well that night.My second float was awesome. I was not so distracted by this new environment, I relaxed much faster drifting in and out of consciousness. I enjoyed it so much I am now a regular floating at least once a week. Floating has assisted in managing my busy schedule. I have increased energy, aches and pains have reduced and I have noticed increased clarity of mind. I look forward to my weekly float sessions and appreciate the value of spending 1 hour a week to recharge at Float Lab.

The Float Lab is just amazing. The pods are just beautiful and create an immersive relaxing environment Highly recommend everyone to try it. I had my 2nd float ever here and again super happy with the experience. I find this is a great way to relax, recharge and reset! A great way to unwind and relax the mind. Also being a runner great for recovery! I'll be incorporating this is into my running routine. If you've been thinking about trying it, do it, you will not regret. I had the most amazing relaxed experience at this newly opened studio. Greeted by friendly staff and ambient atmosphere upon arrival. The float session lasts an hour and you have a private room, which allows no outside noise to interupt your experience. The float is something hard to describe, it allows you to switch off and relax and let you whole body rest and recover! If you are looking for something to treat yourself to, or escape life for an hour and chill out, I highly recommend this experience. I bought a gift voucher for my husband to use and he thoroughly enjoyed it too! Well done to Becalmed Float, you have created something very special at your float studio. We will be back!

The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. This floatlab gives you a cushion for your neck. This improved my experience greatly when compared to another venue. Very nice float - a wonderful gift, the perfect way to give back to yourself and recharge.
