You can walk around the property any time. The water wheel is surprisingly large. With all the rain this year, the grass is high. It is open on the first Sunday of the month, March -November. Big market is held in March or April. Great building! Looking forward to visiting when it's open.

Great little sites for a self guided tour of the old Mill. There is a local creek flowing through.

Well worth visiting. There are information plaques explaining the roles of the various buildings and the functioning of the mill and waterwheel. Unfortunately it's rather tired and unkempt, but nothing a bit of TLC couldn't rectify, hence only 4 out of 5 stars.

Hidden away in the tiny township of Smeaton, it is well worth the visit. I highly recommend this gem

This is a lovely relic of the past - a mill and all the grounds still in place, just as they have been for over 100 years. Outstanding. A little park next to the miss is the perfect place to stop and relax. Well worth the visit.
