Outstanding customer service from Kevin in particular. He went out of his way to help me with advice on an old rotary hoe some years back, even though there was really nothing in it for him at the time! Fast forward a few years and I purchased a new Ferris mower from him. I could not possibly be happier with the product or the service. Businesses such as these are rare!

My description of PowerMowers would be 'ordinary' rather than 'exceptional'.Kevin supplied me with a strimmer head which appeared to me to be an incorrect part. My error, I didn't realise that the assembly was held together with a Left Hand thread coupling. But rather than trying to 'walk me through' the problem, Kevin went defensive and told me that I was in error, it was the correct part, and that he had been working in the business for heaps of years.So based on his info that I was doing something wrong, I attempted again to dismantle the old assembly. The result was I sheared apart the Left Hand thread coupling. That's something that Kevin would have known and I would expect him to have advised me about.I asked if Kevin if had a replacement part; I emailed him a drawing of the broken part with all dimensions and thread sizes. He sent me a couple of parts which were not the correct part and did not match the drawing I had provided to him. I advised him of the error and asked if he was able to find the correct part. No reply.ADDENDUM. So Kevin's response to my critical review (above) continues to be defensive rather than problem-solving. That's OK. And no tears on my side, Kevin; I solved my problem despite you (I have a workshop with lathe and LH thread taps). Kevin is simply not prepared to admit that he didn't give me the support and guidance that most people would expect from experienced professionals. And I'm not writing this out of vindictiveness or malice. Just telling it as I see it for the benefit of others.

Wouldn't recommend purchasing from them online. They couldn't deliver unless I unloaded the ride on mower from the truck myself when it arrived. Considering I purchased the ride on because I have bad knees, that kind of defeated the purpose. Paid for shipping but was told I needed to pay more because it wasnt enough even though the shipping was automatically added at checkout. Was told I would get a phone call about delivery but didnt and had to keep chasing them all week. When I was told they had no idea when it could be delivered, I asked if they could cancel my order instead and the reply was 'Done, bye' and they hung up. No 'sorry for stuffing you around', just didnt give two hoots.Edit: In response to the owner, thats not true at all. I ordered through your website advising of my address, paid, and got a phonecall from you saying I didn't pay enough freight and it would be $200 more. The mower you offered me that was already built was a higher model and $500 extra. You were going to find out when it could be delivered and you literally said you had no idea when I got a hold of you a week after you said you would call. By this stage I had been waiting 3 weeks already. You had my $3000 with no idea of when you could send it. So I POLITELY asked if I could be refunded.

If you want real experience on hand with choosing a mower or a slasher actually anything motorised gardening go see Kevin and his team.In-house spare parts and servicing with genuine attention and fair pricing as far as I am aware.Parking can be a bit tricky but there is a loading area right out front.highly recommended.

Kevin and the team are great to deal with and the cylinder mower is everything and more. Couldn’t go back to a normal rotary mower only. Absolutely wrapped with the Protea. The cut is next level, the clippings are super fine, worms love, I love it! Get yourself one!!!

Excellent, dare I say 'old-fashioned' service. Kevin got straight back to me. Sent part immediately, arrived in a week, which was fine given the current freight chaos. Will definitely use again.

Love this place, Kevin is amazing and very knowledgeable about the right tools for the job, using the right big active brush-cutter for bigger jobs such as thick grass and crazy big weeds cuts down through like breeze. Great service, top workmanship and good pricing. Took a generator in which they did not service before. Did a great job and will continue to use. Parking available in side street and Glen Osmond Road. There is also drop off parking just by the workshop. Highly recommended.
