Cool displays of a time lost in the past... sometimes I wish I could time-travel to experience what it would have been like. Interesting things to look at and discover. Great things for kids to experience and play on!! Highly recommended for a half day out... ❤ much respect to the firies past and present and lost in battle. ❤️❤️❤️

Nice place for toddlers and kids who enjoy all things fire trucks! Interactive displays and a nice little play area outside. Gift shop amazingly well priced (thank you). In addition adults can enjoy learning about the history in Australia and seeing the developments in the fire department over the decades. Highly recommended.

Fantastic place, lots of awesome exhibits (I was particularly impressed on how well presented the fire trucks were). I loved reading all the information about each exhibit and learning the history behind them.I particularly loved and highly recommend the fire engine rides on the days when the museum has them running, it is so worth paying the extra $3 they are so much fun (I went on one when I was visiting the museum it was sooo much fun and the driver was really friendly).

Took our kids, 5 and 3, there during wet school holidays. They absolutely loved it. Highly recommend you go on a day where truck rides are scheduled. The kids loved drawing stations, lots of climb-on attractions and watching educational videos (that passed the retention test in the afternoon!). We spent about an hour and a half there, and had to basically drag them out of there. The shop has some reasonably priced things for a token souvenir. Miss 3 asked all afternoon when we were going back.

Great place for kids and adults who enjoy all things about fire trucks and fire stations. Love how they sell the outfits and hard hats at the entrance that way the kids can wear it straight away and walk around the museum making them feel part of the experience. My favourite area was the library wall where old fire journals were kept. So much history it makes you appreciate the place more. Definitely worth the visit.

Amazing experience, my 2 year old loved it. There are so many activities for the kids. Was amazing to see all the older fire trucks and wagons.Would be cool if their was a replica we could sit on and take photos.

A must to do especially for families with kids. Established in 1985, Museum of Fire includes exhibits about fire safety and firefighting and contains a unique range of historic engines. Easy access with plenty car parks. Entry is 15$ for adults and 7.50$ for children. It requires 1 h to explore and learn about history of Fire Fighting in NSW. Highly recommended!!!

Visited on a wet weekend. The adults found this place interesting, the kids not so much. I think they would have enjoyed it more if they had been allowed to climb on some of the exhibits.
