I was expecting to be underwhelmed by the lake. But wowza! It really is quite blue. Way more blue than I expected. This lookout is a good high point to view this blur AF lake

We loved the walk around the beautiful blue lake. The view from the top is amazing. This is one of the major attractions of Mt Gambier. We definitely had a quality time here and would love to go again.

The Blue Pool was amazing. It's so blue, just like the brochures. You can see the reflection of the clouds.

The most beautiful blue lake I've ever seen! Has to be seen to be believed with just how blue this is. A must go to when visiting Mt Gambier!

This lookout and the blue lake itselfWOWED us the most during our visit to Mount Gambier. This stunning lake provides freshwater supplies to the city as it is purified by limestone and stuff like that connected to the depth of our earth. According to what we read this was part of a former volcano crater (one of the youngest volcanoes in Australia) formed between 15 and 40 million years ago. It’s definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful place! A wonderful place to look at the Blue Lake in Mount Gambier. Gives you amazing angles to click pictures of the mesmerizing Blue Lake that changes its color to different shades of blue depending on the color of the sky above! Good to visit with children, they will love this place that's full of nature!
