Kyneton Manor House

The manor is sumptuous and well appointed-the beds were very comfy. Our hosts kindly bought me a birthday gift and provided wine and a delicious homemade cake. Breakfast was superb. Thank you Carol and Graham-a perfect way to celebrate my birthday.

We were transported back to early 1900’s elegance and character with modern comfort in this beautifully restored manor house, complemented by a fabulous period garden. Our hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home right from the start - attentive but unobtrusive. They were well informed about local history as well as local restaurants and cafes. We were given sumptuous breakfasts in the formal dining room facing the beautiful garden. All in all a very memorable time. Thank you Carol and Graeme.

We had a wonderful stay here. The house has been beautifully restored and the owners Carol and Graeme were delightful hosts. We arrived on a windy and wet Friday afternoon and Carol had the log fire warming us within minutes of our arrival. The bedroom suite was gorgeous and our hosts had all the ‘small ‘touches’ that make a B&B stay both special and memorable covered.

My face fell when I saw the enormous deep, clawfoot bath, however I soon recovered when I saw the walk-in shower. Secure parking provided, very helpful hosts who offered assistance on any issue, prompt response when assistance was requested. Nice little touches like fresh flowers in the rooms, bathrobes provided. Pretty manicured gardens. Delicious home grown, home cooked plums in the continental breakfast selection, good selection of other items, very nice scrambled eggs for the cooked breakfast. Walking distance to Piper Street.Disliked · Apparently there is wi-fi, but I didn't find it. Not a big deal. Would have liked a choice of pillow depths.

Kyneton Manor House is perfect from the beautifully restored property, tasteful decor and to top it off, real roses in both the bedroom and bathroom. A little piece of luxury with an excellent breakfast. Highly recommend

The most amazing getaway with wonderful hosts who were not only friendly and accommodating in every way, but also polite and knowledgeable of the local attractions. We absolutely loved our stay at Kyneton Manor!Carol and her husband made us feel very welcome and took great care of us!The location is fantastic, close to town, yet very quiet during the day and night time. The gardens are absolutely stunning, and so is the house from the inside.Everything looks brand new, is spotlessly clean and the decor is just beautiful! The breakfast options provided were plenty, fresh and delicious. We loved the little homemade treats as well!If we had any questions, all we had to do is ask/ text and we were helped quickly.I honestly cannot recommend staying here - we will be back if we're ever in the area again. It is absolutely perfect for a romantic weekend getaway and to get out of the hustle of the big cities.Thank you so, so much again for an absolutely fantastic stay!
