Flight Centre Belconnen

Had booked a phone appointment with an agent for 2pm on Monday. I had specifically stated it was a phone appointment as I could not leave work to come into the store. Waited for a phone call at 2pm, which was never received. I had specifically rescheduled my day to accommodate for this call as it was a very important trip that I had to book ASAP for my family and I. Didn't even get an apology for the missed appointment. I understand that flight centre is quite busy/ understaffed, but even a heads up to have rescheduled the appointment would have been ok. When you try to call any flight centre, no one ever seems to answer and of course they all seem to close well before the closing time thats stated on their google page. Disappointing service.

Disappointing and a complete let down is a good way to describe Flight Centre Belconnen. I know that this has been challenging times and they are dealing with a large volume of the same stuff however this process has been the most mismanaged situation with staff not informed or have any idea what is actually happening. From cancelling our honeymoon back in March through to now as we try to book our second honeymoon was just the biggest stuff up they could have ever managed. From over 20 email back and forth with us always having to chase for answers, countless phone calls and visiting the shop every week to try and use our credits. Being told that “No Virgin have not released anything yet” “We just have to be patient” To then booking our flights to be told “Oh no your credit expires already so you can’t use it” Excuse me, how can it expire when we were told we could not even use it yet. After going around and around with Flight centre, they suggested I call Virgin directly, so that is what I did. I was assisted by a lovely lady on the phone who informed me that our credits have in fact been sitting there this entire time and could have been used straight away. She even managed to find the credit notes with confirmation numbers that had already been provided to Flight centre. To be told that by the airline and something completely different by flight centre was just disappointing. They are a poorly managed business with every team member giving you a different story and no one being willing or able to help, it always felt like the blame game and they were always trying to push it back on us. When requesting to speak to a manager to discuss this, I was told they are not available and they would not be able to help and just give the same answer. I cannot begin to express my disappointment with this situation and the loss of money because of this whole situation.I would never recommend this business to anyone in the future and will never take any of my business there again. The worst experience for something that should have been the happiest day of our lives followed by a seamless honeymoon. Thanks to flight centre, it wasn’t.

Useless. Have been fined by the ACCC numerous times for dodgy practices. Can't pick up a phone.

Asim is the worst travel agent i have delt with. Never ever gets back to emails or calls. This was a great store previously. One the worst customer services .Never answers the phone. Took my business to Hello world.

Pathetic service! It says it’s open until 5:30 but they shut their doors at 4:40-4:45 and turn away potential business! No wonder they have such low rating. Unprofessional and rude. Absolutely avoid

Have never had any issues with the amazing staff here, they have continued to offer their fantastic services across multiple overseas and local trips. They have saved us hundreds of dollars each trip and have even waived some extra fees to help us out. I never want to book through anyone else.

I had such a good experience with Miss Shail Frawley. She is competent, patient, helpful and friendly. I was a bit stressed by my relatives when I was in the process of booking our European trip. She offered my an apple and a glass of water to calm me down. I am 110% satisfied with her.

I went to the flight centre last Wednesday to get a quote for a trip i was wanting to book. I was told to leave it with them. Give them all our personal details and they'd email me by 2pm that day but I didn't receive an email I waited until the Friday and rang them. I spoke with Charlotte who was dealing with it. Shetold be how busy they were and assured me that she would email me by 3pm that afternoon with a quote. No email was sent. It's now 4 days later and still nothing. No phonecall, no apology, no email..... appalling service! Such a shame.

Booked with Diana Tan a trip to Europe in December 2021. She was absolutely amazing. Even when we were overseas and had to extend our trip she made a really stressful situation much much more smooth. Only way to book a holiday.

I have never had a worse experience with a travel agent!!Flight centre used to be my go-to for travel, but we just had the worst experience with one of the agents at the Belconnen store recently.He was so disinterested in our trip, didn’t ask any questions, didn’t offer alternatives when he couldn’t find tours we wanted, he just chose any flights at random without checking with us first about timing, costs and airports.I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. He didn’t offer insurance, didn’t tell us anything about visas that we might need. Didn’t go over the cancellation policy or explain to us the captains package. I’m not sure how a person without any customer service skills could be hired. I will never use flight centre after this experience.
