We popped in on a Wednesday evening for a bite to eat before a movie over the road at the State Cinema.The service was friendly and inviting, informative and helpful.And the good was delicious and tasty.

Tried their famous bulgogi chips, quite new and special taste.Korean fried chicken - soy honey, worth the vibe but portion can enough if you order some other main dishes.Bibimbap is alright, the spicy sauce on top will add more flavor for the dish.We had dinner in cold day, the soup is a delish and fulfill for everything.Good place to visit when you starving for Korean comfort food with family and friends.

We arrived on a Saturday night without a booking and were lucky to get a seat. We had a friendly waiter who helped us pick a few dishes. All were great bimbap and fried chicken were delicious. We got the special of the chilli squid which was eaten like san choy bow and it was great if not too spicy (and we love heat!)

Always great food my partner and I visit here regularly I could not recommend this restaurant more! Try it, fresh, hot, lots of flavour, great value, friendly staff, great vegan options.

Great menu with a good variety of dishes beyond the classics. Did really want to love to place. The tofu ssaam was great but some more kimchi and something punchy would've been a plus. Pancakes could've been a bit more crispy. The noodle special was a bit too over cooked and soft. Will be back to try more standard dishes, they certainly smelt good!

Food is so good. I have been here several times as it is my to-go for Korean foodies. Everything is perfect, except for one server that ruins it all. It is some lady who always puts on an emotionless face all the time. And her communication is dreadful, trying real hard to get on the nerves of diners. This is a restaurant in Australia, not a cheap bargain market in South East Asia. Act up and show some simple decent manners. If you can't do it, ask your employers to retrain you.

From the moment I entered I could just tell that the food would be delicious. The aromas that were floating around inside was a sign of things to come.I had made a booking earlier on and good thing I did as they were very busy. There was about 20-30 minute wait time for anyone walking in off the street. Takeaway orders were constantly going out the door.I had wanted to try Bibimbap for sometime so was glad to finally get the chance to do so. As a side I had the Crispy Tofu. Prices were very good for the great quality of food you get. Considering how hungry I was I was highly appreciative of the fact that it wasn't a long wait for the food to arrive.The food was delicious, the staff friendly and offered great service. I sat near the front counter facing the kitchen where I enjoyed watching them do their magic.Do yourself a favour and check this place out.

Staff are friendly and nice. Reasonable price. Stir-fried spicy pork was a bit dry and smelly, but it was edible. I was satisfied with the seafood pajeon because it was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside but there’s little seafood. Soy bean soup was good enough.

Kalbi is a must visit place if you’re in Hobart! The lady that served us was very attentive and took her time to explain the menu to us before proceeding to offer us some recommendations. We ordered the chicken bibimbap and the spicy pork ssam and it did not disappoint! Both dishes were generous with the meats and we also loved the side dishes that came with the meal, I’m definitely keen to come back and try more dishes!
