The atmosphere and its old design is attractive, but the meals were not worth that price, the beef brisket was served with potato crisps which i didn't really like and the side salad was cold as our theeth were gonna freeze! The meals (pork, beef and chicken) were really tasty and well cooked but with the price I paid, I had been expecting a little more bigger portions, with the fries not the crisps.

Have been to all the black bears now, this being the one. Vineyard has lot of seating, easy to find and park. Staff were great, nil concerns with service. Black Bear always does great food. This one having a selection of burgers. We had a beef cheeseburger and a chicken to try both kinds. The cheeseburger was yummy, did have that classic cheeseburger taste although was a bit well done on the meat. The chicken was tasty as well and cooked perfectly. I actually think this one was better. I dont think they are the greatest burgers I've had, but the price is reasonable and I would have them again. This is the reason I'd rate the place a 4.Now the part which sadly I would rate a 1 star is their mac and cheese. It was like they just squeeze some melted cheese on it. Similar flavour to what is on the burger, but just on top. Probably the worst I've had. Please black bear at least make some proper cheese sauce and actual American style Mac and cheese. It could then be a real favourite on your menu. If you want great mac and cheese go to BL burgers parra or even soda factory in the city. It's the same price.

Due to Covid and decided not to dine-In, drove 20 mins to take away. Ordered 1 Chilly Hot dog and 3 Cheese Burgers for our lunch. Drove back home and found out all 3 burgers that the meat are completely over burned and taste horrible (bitter). Felt so disappointing and angry with the long drive back and fort for 40 mins!! This is not the first time we had the burger from this place, but this is the first time we encounter this bad experience. Hope this will not happen again!

Arrived about 2pm today,.looking forward to a nice lunch and were told no Brisket or Pork available from the Smoker. Driving from Eastern Sydney to have an ordinary cheeseburger and cheesy fries.Disappointed!!!!

Can't wait to go back. You can order using a QR code at your table. Great menu and the brisket was incredibly tasty and melting in your mouth. The burger was good and I'd recommend customising it to include the ingredients you want. I drove an hour and it was well worth it.

Brisket and egg breaky roll & buffalo wings - amazing! Perfectly tender Brisket with remarkable flavour. Large serving size and value for money. Bring your friends - tables seat between 4 to 20+ people and are big and wide. Eating room is air conditioned, quiet and has rural views. I will definitely be returning.

Amazing food. The brisket, pork belly and Smoky chicken wings were very tender and full of flavour. Good value for money and Great service. A bit far from my house but worthwhile the drive. Highly recommended *****

Excellent ribs and fried chicken, completely American style.The size is quite big and makes me really full.Will come to try the beef in the future.The burger is a bit easy to slip so hold it carefully!

This menu is a combination of premium cooked meats with some items more fast food like.On the first visit we ordered the brisket box for $30 which really only feeds one hungry person, The serves of meat were not generous and is served as cut pieces of the whole side of brisket. Not a fan of the potato crisps being served with a meal for dinner, They were not eaten. The pickles and slaw were great not enough to accommodate a $30 dish.The The chicken wings were a cheaper dish and we very tasty for wings.On the next visit we ordered the cheesy fries which is a Mac cheese like sauce drizzled on top. We ordered a beef burger and the fried chicken burger which was served with a terrible piece of thigh. The beef burger was very oily and had to be eaten in 2 mins before the wet bun fell apart. We have had our Black Bear fill now and probably will not be back for a long time.Not a late trade on dinner here, Lots of car parking available. Customer service was average and the atmosphere is bistro likeThey also have a butcher here which does look very good and some premium meat and meat products are for sale.
