TeamKids

We don't have much choice as to who our provider is for out of hours care. They do the job however my main issues are the 'late' fees and 'cancellation' fees. The 48 hours notice stings working parents time and time again and is brought up in the class WhatsApp group as a gripe. Also these days it often costs to get a doctor's certificate to prove your child was sick to avoid cancelling due to sickness. I think 12 hours sounds more reasonable and don't buy the excuse given that 48 hours is for rostering/ staffing. The same staff are working on any given day at our school?! Feels like profit over people.

Great service. Care, menu and activities are fantastic but please get an app so bookings are more user friendly!

I must say, we all have different experiences of how our kids are being looked after in TeamKids. But for us, we have a positive and great experience and are thankful that the TeamKids in our local school is the best! My child started as a prep and came in your care, but the educators are so exceptional. My kid loves to go in their care as she enjoys, learns a lot from them. The creativity of the staff and how they treat the students are beyond. The bond between the staff and kids are marvelous. Learning, playing and growing are some of the characters the TemKids brought to us. Thank you to your wonderful staff. I know you strive what is the best for everybody and glad you take our feedbacks to improve and or maintain the utmost care of everybody.

My daughter absolutely loves Team Kids! Being a preppy I thought it would be daunting for her to be around the bigger kids, but the carers are so fun and caring, that the kids behaviours are all so welcoming and loving! It’s great to see her mingle with other age groups. The carers at the Facility is really top quality and would recommend any parent to enrol their child/ren even for just a day a week!

I have mixed feelings (good and bad) about Team Kids and hope some of these could help improve Team Kids day to day1. Some of the educators have been very warm (kudos to Astrid who was giving my son a tour on the first day)2. I was a little concerned reading the recent news (4 July 2022) that Team Kids in another branch had forgotten and left a kid behind for two hours during a rock climbing excursion. I would like to share that this gives me a lot of anxiety has a parent and I really hope that management can take this very seriously when it comes to caring for young children.3. The holiday program has A LOT of kids in the Team Kids that my son attends. I was curious if the stated ratio of 1:10 educators was truly adhered to. I believe that from a quantitative perspective that may be the case, but from observation I don’t feel like there’s a 1:10 ratio from a supervisory perspective. Eg there may be 1 educator with 20 kids in the yard4. The sign in systems is good but I did feel like going in and out of the centre was a little easy. I think it makes sense to have someone strictly responsible for physically managing the in and outs and not just the digital system.I believe that we need to have a high standard when it comes to the safety and well-being of children. Safety of the children is a non-negotiable priority.

Poorly run, they have no control over the kids, there is no leadership shown by any of the teenage kids that they employ to look after the children. Even with the schools help and management plans set out the staff and managers at team kids do not have the capabilities to follow simple step by step instructions.Do not recommend this service to anyone and i would give 0 stars if i could.

Not happy at all with team kids, some of the staff are rude and if I had any choice at all my child wouldn’t go wish our school never changed to team kids , they also force direct debit and give u no other way to pay but charge more fees to use direct debit I have nothing good to say about them or their customer service

No sure what to make of this service.I witnessed kids badly behaving in front of the staff without any reactions from staff.My twin girls do not like it. The staff members do not great you in the morning when doing drop off.
