Global Dance Collective

I have been dancing with Cara at what is now called Global Dance Collective for 4-5 years. Cara is a wonderfully supportive and encompassing teacher who provides an environment conducive to all stages of learning. She is very knowledgeable and manages to bring out the best in all of her dancers, no matter if they are brand spanking new, or seasoned dancers.

When I first saw Cara dance I was in Awe and wanted to learn for myself.I honestly didn’t think I would be able to do it.Cara and her amazing team of talented ladies had me laughing and feeling amazing and before I knew it I was doing the moves without thinking.So excited to be a part of Global Dance Collective.Couldn’t recommend them enough :)

I have been enjoying the Rueda Classes with Cara and her team for just over a year now and I can honestly say it’s the highlight of my week. Cara always shares her joy and her knowledge and her classes are super fun and easy to follow I was never made to feel silly or less than even when I first started. I started in the beginners class and then quickly found myself doing the intermediate class as well - I always leave smiling and laughing and more energized then when I arrived - the whole studio was super welcoming and honestly I would recommend to anyone to try it - with or without a partner - you won’t regret it!!

Global Dance Collective is the incredible merging of all global dance styles bringing culture, variety and passion to Townsville. Cara, Jordan and all of the other amazing instructors are all wonderful and genuine people who will guide you and nurture you in any dance style you choose! I have been Belly Dancing for a year now and I can highly recommend it ✨

I joined in 2002 when I was 10 years old. Being taught how to Belly dance by Cara would have to be one of my best memories as a child. It brought me so much confidence & love for myself which is so important at that age. It is also where I met my life long best friend. If you're thinking of joining, or signing your child up, don't second guess yourself, it'll be the best thing you ever do! Thankyou Cara for all the memories ♡

Cara is a warm, inviting and wonderful teacher. The entire atmosphere of Global Dance Collective is welcoming and full of friendly people. I feel so blessed to have been accepted into this community and I highly recommend all the classes and teachers.

Totally amazed by what Cara has created in the diverse cultural dance world! Being a small business owner in a similar field, what I've seen come out of the GDC is nothing but professional and all culturally authentic in every way. Cara is also an amazing event organiser and I have been privileged to be part of her many events. I highly recommend Global Dance Collective and all the fabulous crew.
