We had been given this adventure as a gift and wow what a lovely place. We had a cheese platter with red and white wine tasting. It was just amazing place and the view of the the Valley was spectacular and really set the scene. To all the staff at Dryridge Estate thank you for a wonderful afternoon and excellent hospitality. I would definitely recommend the drive to this fantastic venue.

The most spectacular vineyard ever frequented. Now on our regular Mountain visits. Emma is the perfect host.Love the fact that they honour nieces and nephews in the labeling of varieties, keeps it personal. We are now loving Francoise Rose. The Riesling and Pinot Grigio are always in the fridge too! From the escarpment to the seashore, never disappointing.

(3.5 stars)Those spectacular views you take in from the Hydro Majestic at Medlow Bath look down at the Megalong Valley. Despite it being a dead end serviced by a road that is broken in more than six places, it’s worth the half hour drive down through cool rainforest. The road being broken in places for more than two years is an exemplar of how John Barlilaro’s guideline changes that starved Labor-held councils of funds, have impacted people’s lives in bushfire-prone areas. There are two wineries in the valley and they’re located right next door to each other, so you might as well visit both. Dryridge Estate is set up for relaxed tasting with cheese and charcuterie boards ($40/2). They have a bigger range of wines than their counterpart because they buy-in grapes from other areas. A tasting of seven wines from their range will set you back ten bucks. Waitstaff were quick to reassure the designated driver that their tasting adds up to one and a half standard drinks, leaving you under the legal limit for the drive out. Wines are served at shaded outdoor tables in front of the spectacular east-facing view. The 2019 Dryridge Eva Chardonnay ($30/bottle) was my pick of the range: simple, bright and inoffensive. It’s not a rich or robust Chardonnay so it suited food-free daytime drinking. Winery staff were unsure if it had any malolactic fermentation. While I’m not normally a Shiraz drinker; the 2021 Dryridge Florence Shiraz Cabernet ($40) piqued my interest by being very smooth and round, with juicy red fruit and a hint of whole bunch greenery.

Stunning views across the vines onto the mountains. Pull up a table(bookings highly recommended) grab a cheese board or Charcuterie and a bottle of your favourite wine and spend the afternoon watching the sun set on the mountains. Tastings are available to make up your mind. They also have a cellar door with some treats and gifts.

We stayed for 4 nights at the beginning of December at the Sunrise Lodge on this beautiful estate.Wonderful host, well kept, very comfortable and well equipped lodgings. The jacuzzi was the icing on the cake.Waking up every morning to beautiful valley scenes and birds singing.Ending every day with glass of wine on the verandah watching sunset over the valley.Truly a blessing!

We just wanted to thank Emma, Bec and the rest of the Dryridge Estate Team for making us feel so welcome on the weekend. 35 of us enjoyed a beautiful 7 glass wine tasting overlooking the magnificent Megalong Valley. The views are breathtaking, and the wines are journey from whites to reds. George: the resident dog kept everyone from every table entertained and on their toes with his toys. The wines were beautiful matched with a variety of decadent cheese platters. This is our second visit there and it certainly won't be our last. A beautiful hidden gem.
