Nicely managed spot for ice skating. They have all the necessary equipments. There is a nice little food court setup. This place is nicely located in the backdrop of Yarra River and Melbourne skyline. This place is very loud and we could not understand most of the things from training session. They training session was also not adequate for the new comers like me.

Winter fun ... spoiled by exuberant prices on ordinary food and drinks ... $11.00 for my favourite Pie Thief meat pie???Better location for the ice skating rink this year.

The food cost a bomb, the ice skates were so low quality and dug into my feet so much, and the actual ice was bumpy and really hard to skate on. Too many people as well and the music was not only way too loud but horrible. Was excited to go at first but was extremely disappointed.

Amazing festive atmosphere, made better by some great food and music. Imagine a Christmas-y vibe in the middle of June!

What a fun night we had at The Rink lastnight. Stumbled upon it as we were walking along the river bank. Great set up for a Winters night out. Fire pits with tables and chairs around them. Excellent Pizza's and a huge bar. If you don't want to Ice-skate, you can always just sit back and watch other people attempt to do it haha. Excellent night out for everyone.

DISAPPOINTED at customer service and wrong information provided by the on-site staff.I went there around 2:30 on a Saturday. It was packed with kids, and as someone who's never gone ice skating, I felt anxious about bumping a kid or something. I asked the staff what time she suggested was best for me and my date to go, and she said around 10pm. I have autism and I had created a chart with all the times for all the Rising events, and I had The Rink closing at 9pm. I genuinely thought they had decided closing later. I went on to attend the other events, Spark, Kazoos, Euphoria, and others. Went for dinner and went back to The Rink at 9:48 pm, and to my shocking surprise, they were closing at 10 pm. I asked another person, and she suggested calling customer service and/or emailing the Ticketing team. So I did, and they were so cold and showed no understanding, no tolerance, no compassion, and no empathy with my situation. They made it look like it was my fault for believing their on-site staff.I am very sad and disappointing about this. No resolution at all, wasted my money, and just had a bitter taste in my mouth.

Lovely idea being in the city, skating around just near the river but the Rink is packed full of people for the size, the skating times are misleading 5-6pm" is more realistically 45 minutes long with you being kicked off for the last 15 minutes while they smooth the ice.Great fun but plenty of better choices outside the CBD."

Booked through Fever. By the time we got on the ice, we were told to get off before we'd so much as left the side. My kids aged 4 and 6 were already extremely upset over the chaotic process to get in and the extremely uncomfortable/painful skates. The smallest size was way too big for my 4yo but they don't tell you that when you book. There were no size 8 shoes left for me so I was offered a way too big 10! We didn't even get to skate (we were offered the option of coming back on after the ice had been smoothed over but after the 45min debacle of trying to get in my kids had absolutely had enough). It was my birthday and we were trying to have fun together as a family and it was actually just a horrible experience that caused us loads of grief and hassle with the kids all to pay $100 to NOT even. skate. It's mad! Took forever just to sign their disclaimer, the first disclaimer I've ever had to sign for ice skating in my life which is no doubt because of the extreme overcrowding designed to make extra $$$. Unable to get a refund for my non-experience from Fever, who are worse than useless. The food trucks were extortionate so we ate in a restaurant at Fed Sq instead. The staff were friendly and it looked pretty. They're the only positives. Please ignore all the crazy fake reviews on here saying how amazing it is. If they weren't trying to financially exploit you and actually genuinely wanted you to have a good time, then it had the potential to be be much better
