Food was not bad, the spice was there but taste was abit bland, and I must say very overpriced for what it was (e.g. $18 for a plate of plain veggies). We also waited almost an hour for our food, which was just hot pot and veggies - it seemed like the staff prioritised online orders because we watched them fulfil lots of take out while our table and the tables around us were empty.

This is a restaurant that you will easily miss when you walk along the streets of Northbridge. The prices for the individual dishes are extremely affordable, where most of the items are under $15. You could also get a side dish and rice for about that price. Don't worry about feeling hungry after eating since the portions of the dishes are extremely large. I would highly recommend the Stewed Pork with Taro and Rice. It is a dish you wouldn't usually expect to work out, but the flavours match perfectly. It is a savoury dish and the pork is nicely cooked until it melts in your mouth. It is a place you definately should try. The prices are really good so don't stress about ordering.

I ordered take away food at 5:30 and the waitress told me it will be available in 30min. However, 50min later they told me I need to wait for another 10min without a “sorry” or any explanations. The service is really poor.

Rice noodles are tender and flavourful. Pig intestines are on the chewy side but fragrant nonetheless. Pork and yam make a good combo without being too salty. Fried rice balls are crispy outside and soft inside, with the right amount of sweetness from brown sugar syrup.

I often see queue of people waiting for a table in front of this restaurant. Today I finally try the food. It is tasty and the spicy dishes are hot and good. No wonder the place draws the crowd!

3.5 starsGiving this restaurant a go since we were in the vicinity for lunch. Ordered okra with sliced pork for veggies and the griddled cooked spicy spareribs.The wait was abt 15 minutes until the food came out. The okra dish was just ok. The whole combo of okra and capsicums wasn't great. The spareribs were better, I was expecting it to be spicier but I understand that people in general might not be able to take anything spicier.Portion size was rather small for the price. Service was friendly and accomodating. Asked for extra bowl and was given the bowl and plates for bones. We were also seated straight away and was given cold water straight after without asking. Appreciated the box of tissues on the table since eating spareribs can be a messy business.

Nice and tasty spicy hotpot. Unassuming and functional dining room. Tasty food and family atmosphere. Great spot for a cheeky hotpot.

Kinda expensive and foods tasted normal.There’re not many opportunities if you don’t like spicy foods.
