I spoke to a older more experienced staff member about buying my first new board, have had three second hand ones before. I appreciated the genuine knowledge and information about this new style that could eliminate some of the problems that I had with my previous boards. Would definitely recommend the comfortable service and I can’t wait to try out my new board.

Just recently got my first custom surfboard through Beach Beat and I am beyond thrilled. Special shout out to Danni, she helped me the whole way through, was really open to my ideas and guided me to make the best decisions without sacrificing what I wanted. Best surf shop on the sunny coast staff are really friendly and back it up with great knowledge.

Went here today to buy a wetsuit. Great service by the staff. The staff were very knowledgeable and assisted me with my selection without just trying to up-sell the product.I would definitely recommend going here for your surf stuff regardless of your level of experience. Called into the shop to take a look around. Amazing selection and very friendly staff. Visiting from England and so we couldn't take a board away so bought some clothing instead.

I came into the store yesterday 20/11/2020 researching a new surfboard. I was warmly greeted and asked if I needed anything. We got talking about custom surfboards, knowledge was on point and after much discussion I chucked down a deposit.I came back today and the fun went to the next level, great banter with a very friendly professional service, it was a roller coaster of fun trying to find boards bags to suit but many laughs were had during the time.35 years and still going strong I can definitely see why. Highly recommended for quality honest service and a laugh to match.Thanks crew.

A few weeks ago I decided, it was time I treated myself to a new surfboard (Father’s Day). After checking out other surf shops, I realised that the shop assistants I spoke too were not experienced enough to understand the type of board I was chasing or have a clue to the dimensions best suited to my level of surfing experience. Fortunately, a friend recommended I go to Beachbeat at Alexandra Headlands. The staff (Danni, Gary & Noel) at this business I found to be unlike any other surf shop I’ve encountered on the Coast, in fact, when I think about it, possibly the country. Knowledgeable customer service is plentiful. You can see the same with all the staff, it’s ingrained into the culture of this business and dealing with them is super easy, specifying the perfect board - super stoked on my new Firewire.
