A real bowling club with old school hospitality and a warm sense of community. The Chinese restaurant is absolutely fantastic. You can get a meal for $10 or lash out. The quality of the food is wonderful. Fresh, traditional and huge servings. A pleasurable little club that's like a time warp to a better time (See Crackerjack) A great venue for a get together, party or function as its informal, relaxed and friendly. It's my hope this place stays in the hands of a supportive group of committed locals and not the vulturous scrum bag developers that have corrupted Rockdale for years. 5 big stars.

Waitress was wearing plastic gloves, handled money twice, have change to customers and then brought out the food with cutlery handled by her dirty contaminated gloves. Brought serviettes out also, printed from a Japanese take away. Absolute joke.

Went there one NY Eve with family for dinner. Great little hidden local. Good Chines bistro at reasonable prices. Local band playing old classics gets the dance floor shaking. Family friendly.

The Chinese restaurant is fantastic value for money. The portions are always huge and you'll definitely need a doggy bag or two at the end of dinner. The ham and chicken rolls are a bit of a travesty though. Spam not ham!

Quaint little club that is coming into its own.The youth that has stepped up into the club committee has added so much value by building decks, brought in a new caterer and started running bowls tournaments. The big kahuna is the live music that plays most weekends. This is what has really blown the place up and now the infrastructure is in place to support the crowds. It has become more family friendly. This will improve once compliance to smoking is maintained. The restaurant is mainly cheap and cheerful chinese but does serve the usual steak, eggs n chips. It doesn't have gluten free options. The barstaff is friendly and efficient and the drinks are of course cheaper than a night club. Go to the Facebook page and follow the club for updates. The carpark is pretty small but there is plenty of street parking. Best use Uber if you're looking to let your hair down. Go check it out for yourself, you won't regret it.

I always been in this place enjoying the great food, but last time there wasn't a manager on charge and the members were checking the sing in, there were so rude with us and They threw us out being racist cause they were Australians and we foreigns, it's a pity that the management of the place let that kind of people on charge, the ladie at the bar did not want to get involved because the rude members were drunk. I had two friends that I invited for first time and it was a sad frustrating experience.

I attended this Club last Saturday evening. I was met by 4 drunks in front of our entrance. I could hear music playing at a volume almost deafening. We signed in and greeted our friends (8). We had to use sign language or place our lips to anothers ear so they could hear us.There is no defined dining room and the only table available was 5 metres from the disc jockey. The dance floor was intermittently full of drunken patrons who's behaviour was rude, raucous and oblivious to others health and safety including ours. At no time was the music volume eased or relented. We just sat at our table looking at each other. Talking and listening was out of the question. Buying drinks at the bar was also a weave and swerve act while in the queue. We ordered and ate our Chinese meal which was excellent in taste and portion size. We then left the club.I would rate the Chinese meals as perhaps the best I have ever tasted. BUT from now on takeaway only.As for revisiting this venue I would say just leave it for the drunks and those with very resilient hearing and indifference to discourteous and unruly behaviours.

The bowling club is lovely. There are great bar staff that are very friendly. The restaurant is lovely and as someone with allergies they are very understanding and accommodating. Such a wonderful local gem!
