Osborn House

We had lunch today at Osborne House's George's restaurant. I had the chicken - priced at $48 - which came with some overcooked snow peas and a bit of mint. The chicken legs were well cooked but the breast was bone dry. I also had to order a separate side of potatoes (a serve were $16) bringing my roast to the grand total of $64 which is outrageous and especially so because it was really pretty poor. My partner had the ragu which was watery and very ungenerous in size. Whilst the wine list and views were great, the food was an utter let down. When asked by my waiter if we had enjoyed it - I said it was OK - he did not enquire any further. Such a shame as we had high hopes when entering because it's a beautiful dining room and the staff seem very friendly. I realise this review is very negative but if you are going to charge these prices you have to deliver.

Absolutely amazing stay, just perfect. From the moment you arrive to the individual attention to you receive through out your stay, you feel very much welcomed. Beyond world class service. The rooms are spacious, and clean, the bed and high quality linen provided guaranteed a perfect night's sleep. The location was brilliant and so convenient, and the views were simply breathtaking.Thank you so much to each and every member of staff at Osborn House, who made my stay so easy and relaxing.

Perfect getaway location, just a couple of hours from Sydney.I’ve visited for the Fire Feast with my partner and we fell in love with the precinct. The food was unreal and the staff was super attentive.They have several options for rooms but the outside cabins are a must!Certainly one of the most beautiful hotels in Sydney!

Nothing was lacking, literally nothing.The location: spectacular.The service: flawless.The amenities: perfect.The food: delicious.The rooms: amazing.The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect and you were always feeling welcome and looked after. I often like to provide some sort of “constructive feedback” on these reviews but there is nothing I can add…this place is perfect.

The best 5 star experience I have ever had. I've stay in many 5 star locations around the world. A lot of them don't live up to that 5 star experience, but I can absolutely say that Osborne House is that 5 star experience.The staff are amazing, attentive and friendly and go that extra mile to accommodate. The location is beautiful, the room fresh and luxurious with an old wood feel.We stayed in a cabin with an outdoor bath which was a lovely addition.I could not fault our stay one bit and cannot recommend enough.

Booked dinner at Dinah’s Bundanoon & after trying to find our way to the restaurant through the dark bath we found the restaurant.I must say that the staff were fantastic and friendly, but the lack of communication with our waitress made our experience somewhat sad not explaining the trout is a whole fish and is de-boned by the waiter, so my wife ordered the lamb.Entree was very nice, (mains) but lamb very average with it being as raw as I have ever seen considering it was supposed to be medium to well done.Other than the noisy table next to us and the raw lamb, it was okay.

Went for their fire lunch and service and food were brilliant. Enormous care on ingredients and ensuring no one goes hungry. Day begins outside by the fire until main course and dessert inside. The design and ambience are so stylish. However the low score is because we booked for four and day of one of our party was unwell so I rang to advise, only to be told I’d be charged the $175 per person for the unwell guest regardless. An explanation of well we bought the food. I have never heard of this before anywhere. And of course no extra anything for the missing person we had paid for. So v disappointing despite all the good.

Was a spectacular and relaxing weekend in the Highlands of Australia. We began the weekend with a relaxing dinner at Georges. The Saturday was filled with a wonderful 90-minute couples massage in the dayspa onsite, and an evening at Dinah's restaurant which was excellent. The Sunday we excitedly took place in the Firefeast, a must for anyone wanting a wholesome and sensory overload experience before unwinding in the pool, spa and sauna. The room was a perfect size for a 3 night stay with our own lounging area. The team at Osborne were always helpful and willing to cater for any of our needs! Do yourself a favour and try all the goodies Osborne House has to offer!

A beautiful little haven. We enjoyed a family lunch and could not fault a thing! Beautiful location, attentive service, gorgeous interior spaces and divine food. We will definitely be returning.
