This store now has new management. From what I've been told the management is using demographics to price items. The Lower North Shore has always been a working class suburb. Not Double Bay. Apparently the manager used to manage the Mosman store, an Upper Class suburb. The stock in this store is now massively overpriced. $50.00 for a 30+ year old overlocker, $80.00 for an average water colour painting. Furniture that is not worth the price tag it has on it. The store doesn't have as many customers as it used to, which was a lot as it was always packed. And many locals don't bother shopping there anymore because of the price hike. I doubt I'll shop there anymore. It's an Op Shop, not a Myers.

Heaps of good stuff and curated well! Really really really grumpy woman at the register. Didn’t say hi/bye/thank you, just asked me cash or card and did not make eye contact. No acknowledgement of whether my transaction went through or not it was so weird. But I love my new vase!

Unfortunately the other reviews are correct - this store is dirty, overpriced & the staff are increasingly rude. Many of the garments are also stained & torn. You'd be much better off going to the multitude of charity stores on Military Rd across the way in Neutral Bay.

The new Manager is making a great impact: welcoming and beautifully organized store with good items. Nice to see that this Manager understands that this is a charity shop and not a boutique. Please keep the prices down and you will become again the best charity shop in Sydney.

Really good Vinnies for homewares. Everything is neat and arranged by colour and type. They don’t have a huge range of furniture, but if you live locally, and visit every few days you can score some good things (we bought some lovely antique chairs for our 1930s apartment). I’ve also found some rare and interesting books here. The clothes are a bit pricey. The staff are warm and friendly, and they let me bring my little Dachshund in.

Well organised store. I left empty handed though. I agree with the other reviews. The prices were way too high though for 2nd hand. I found some cute bookends but unfortunately they were very dusty and had some broken bits but the price was $18. I also spied a nice leather overnighter bag but the price was the same as TK max which would have been brand new. It’s more like a commercial shop now rather than a charity shop where you can buy affordable goods.

Really really bad customer service! You asked a question and you will got a stair back like you did something wrong.Asked for a bag because I can't carry all to my scooter and being told to go all the way to woodworth to get one.I didn't want to buy anything there anymore and the lady said no refund". I had to ask to speak to the manager to get my refund because why should I spend my money to the place that the somebody can makes me feel really bad right on the spot

Manager is very rude!! Stuffed meAround on buying a piece of furniture. Useless staff. Came All the way from the other side of the harbour with a trailer to be told it was sold to someone else even after I called to check toPick it up. Will Never shop here again. Easily one of the worst vinnies shops I’ve been to in Sydney.

I'm afraid to say I'm agreeing with the other reviewers the store is dirty the staff are rude and unhelpful the same boring unhelpful individuals that have been working there for years. Their prices are a rip off if you're going to buy clothing go to Target or Kmart ECT.
