What an awesome country town pub. Great atmosphere...The pub has nice tasty food and cold beer with friendly helpful staff who offered some great advice on local places to see.I also noticed accommodation/ rooms available the were basic however they offered the classic country pub atmosphere

I went with 4 mates on motorcycles for lunch, we had the open steak sandwich with chips. Very tasty with 2 light beers to wash it downMy first visit to the pub and I'm sure we will go back

Great all round country pub. Cold beer, GREAT food, lovely staff, friendly atmosphere. Pig on a Spit night every month at $20.00 per head can't be beaten. You couldn't be more welcomed anywhere.

Great old fashioned country pub. We felt very welcomed! Food, drinks and service were all great. After dinner, we enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace with some drinks. Loved our evening at the Cooyar Hotel.

Stopped in here tonight with my partner after a drive from Toowoomba. We couldn't sign in with the Covid safe app because we had no service and the lady behind the bar was very unhelpful and rude it should work with optus

Always a gr8 country pub to visit. Food, beer & service A1. I go camping there at least 3/4 times a yr. More if I can. Camping area free & has power if u want it. I don't, thoroughly recommend u stop next time u r going through.

Professional publician at work. Helpful, friendly, got a meal, a few drinks and room for under $100. Bargain. Even called the mechanic and made me a coffee when my truck wouldn't start in the morning..You can't buy good service. Cheers

Karen and her team did a great job hosting 30 of us for dinner and accommodation. We had a two course spit roast dinner, fire pits, live music and were looked after with real country friendly service. Thanks Karen and The Cooyar Hotel.

Stayed for a couple of days in the caravan area. Had meals and drinks in the pub as well as purchasing wine. Most staff were very pleasant, even Barry the dog. One particular staff member was quite rude in her manner and the way she spoke to us. Only came across her on the last night and the morning we left. Remember the travellers keep this country/state going; being rude to them doesn't help when we are going to spend our money with your establishment. Good manners goes a long way.
