I NAILS and BEAUTY

Went to this salon for the first time as I am new to QLD and I like to support local business. Will not be going back for a second time. Worst infill I have ever got. Nails are not the same length and the polish not applied to the edge of my nails, wasn’t even game enough to ask for some nail art as the guy seemed to be in such a rush. Extremely disappointed in the quality and look of my nails.

I got my nails done on Tuesday (2 days ago) and my polish is chipping? I don’t even understand how this happens. Never happened before. Also was cut badly on one of my nails. So disappointed :(Ugliest nail fill for $50?????? What the heck.Waste of money. Won’t come back.

3rd visit did my eye brows great the 1st time the last 2 times have done them way to thin not even, one is lower then the other so annoyed not trained in eye brows at all...

Didn't get the opportunity to use this business twice, due to discrimination as my mum has a disability in a wheelchair and is non verbal. Treated as like we were infectious. Used the excuse the staff member was pregnant. Why is she working their then if she can't work. The man who owns this business is arrogant, no customer service skills at all. No wonder he only 1 client. We proceeded to Ozzi nails, who were very busy, yet were very accommodating and more than happy to give my mum the manicure she wanted and painted her toenails. Would NOT recommend this business at all. Gave them 1 star, so that I could write a review, otherwise they would of got negative stars.

I went in to get a simple rainbow set. Initially they were friendly, but then they began to make me feel like a hassle for wanting 5 different colours when I’m literally paying $5 extra for it (Aussie nails don’t do that btw). Also, I tried to tell the nail tech that he made the first coat on one of my nails uneven, like a big bump. All I wanted him to do was smooth it out but he just told me to put my hand under the UV light. Once I got home, I also noticed little bumps in the nail polish (most likely fibres from filing). They honestly are the worst set I’ve ever gotten. I’m only giving 2 stars because maybe it was that one tech and I saw them give good service to others, just not me. It was very upsetting and a waste of $65. Definitely don’t recommend if you’re getting anything but a basic coloured set.

Service was really lovely and the shape of my nails is great. Not much of a conversational crew so it's a little awkward because there's no music or talking. Only complaint I have is my nail polish is chipping and not coated evenly. Not sure I will be back.

UPDATE: Photos added after one week. They already need a treatment because of the techniques they use. My nails do not grow fast, the cuticle wasn't trimmed and the drill was used to tidy" the edges. AVOID WASTING YOUR MONEYNo cuticle treatment

Minimal conversation or pleasantries upon arrival. Did not take the time to make sure each nail was the same length and my nail tech didn’t ask me to wash my hands before painting my nails so there were a few lumps and specks in my paint. No attention to cuticles - no trimming or pushing them back or even cuticle oil after using their drill. I would understand if they were a student/new to the job but I paid $55 for a full set of acrylic nails. Other salons have finished their service with no additional work to be done to make the nails look presentable. My cuticles were incredibly dry and unkempt, which I was not happy with. I have since removed them with another business. Not inclined to come back here
