My nonna passed away unexpectedly and was unsure of what funeral provider to use.In the past all my family had used one funeral director and they were our first point of call.In trying to establish a church for the funeral two parishes reccomended me Legacy Funerals and Massimo's services.I contacted Massimo the day after my Nonnas passing and Massimo arranged to meet my family and myself that afternoon.Massimo greeted myself and my family with sincerity and empathy expressing his condolences and understanding given the difficult time for my family and also wanted to hear about my Nonna and her life.Massimo went through every step of the funeral process in great detail from the collection of my nonna, preparing the body, clothes, church, priests, viewing, rosary, organist, vocalists, flowers, cars, caskets, booklets etc and was more than happy to answer any questions we had and provided an on the spot quote with no obligation and would follow up in a day or twoBeing of Italian background Massimo understood tradition and culture and that we wanted the best for my Nonna and provided his experience and expertise to ensure we were satisfied and had covered everything for my Nonnas funeral.I was surprised by Massimo's professionalism and dedication he stayed approximately 2.5 hours and instilled in me the confidence and trust that my Nonnas funeral would be done with the utmost care respect and dignity for the deceased and perfect.We met with the other funeral director that my family had always dealt with the next day and from initial meeting through services and options we did not get the same satisfaction nor understanding which instilled further confidence in selecting Massimo.Massimo followed up and contacted us and with taking everything into consideration choose Massimo and Legacy Funerals.Massimo came the next day and went through all funeral arrangements again to firm everything up contacted the priest, church, hospital, organist and vocalists to ensure dates were met. I was suprised at the contacts he has and how simple he makes the process look and provided all necessary documentation for cemetery, hospital, death certificate etc.Nothing is too difficult for Massimo. He allowed me to assist him in dressing and makeup for my Nonna for her funeral. Kept us updated with what was happening when my Nonna was taken into his care, availability of caskets, cars, when priest and vocalist would be in contact, mass booklets etc and even last minute requests.The night before rosary and viewing was completed and the next day the funeral.The church looked amazing. The flowers, casket, booklets etc and even a special touch of leaving a rose at my Nonnas house before heading to the cemetery for burial with butterflies being released was beautiful.Everything for the day went as planned perfect and stress free and we were glad we made the right choice in choosing Massimo to complete the funeral.Honestly I cannot thank enough Massimo, Legacy Funerals, his staff Christine and Kimble, the people who completed the flowers, the booklets, the organist, the vocalists, the priest and anyone else who I may have missed that Massimo uses and knows in making the day as perfect as it was and what we wanted for my Nonna.I would not hesitate in reccomending Massimo for your funeral needs.Massimo is sincere genuine and honest. Massimo and his team were the perfect fit for our Catholic practicing family. Respectful and attentive throughout, communication was easy. Massimo provided reassurance and guidance when needed and most importantly respect and reverence at all times. His team clearly deserve a 5 star review for their efforts in Feb 2022 at The Little Flower Church in Kedron for our beloved father.
