Great hosts, great food. Thoroughly enjoyed my week here. Awesome family atmosphere. Great place to get away for the hustle and bustle of life. Definitely give this a go.

If you want to unplug and enjoy the natural beauty of North Queensland's Paluma Range, then you need to stay at Hidden Valley Cabins. Nestled in the bush, this jaw-droppingly, beautiful property is surrounded by amazing wildlife, and situated near terrific hiking trails and various waterfalls that offer swimming opportunities. Gaze at the night sky and take in the wonders of the Milky Way. This family-run business really knows how to take care of their guests. And, and it's eco-friendly to boot! I love this place!!!!

Everything from speaking with Sonia to book the cabin to our arrival was amazing. The ride up was beautiful, and our cabin was so cute and quaint. We were greeted like family and honestly it was so quiet and peaceful. We had a guided tour down to the little creek nearby at sunset by their son, and got puppy pets from their pack of lovely hounds who are ADORABLE.

What an experience. Beautiful, peaceful, comfortable. Hosts are lovely, Ians steaks are worth the drive. The drive is great....winding and steep and then dirt, but nothing terrible. Then there is the platypus tour....just brilliant! We had only one might here but will certainly stay for more next time

I went here with a group and was blown away by the level of care we were shown. The people who work there are incredibly friendly and attentive- we ate homemade food each meal and it was PHENOMENAL. Kirk and Ross were also very knowledgeable about the surrounding wildlife and successfully helped us find a platypus in the nearby stream. I would love to visit again sometime!

Worth the drive in - to this remote beautiful bushy location. A place to get away from the hustle and feel such peace!Owners Bonnie and Ian made us feel welcome and their home cooked meals are AMAZING! Make sure you order dinner and breakfast, I felt like it was my Mum cooking for me (and she was a good cook). We stayed for one night in early January but wished we could have stayed another. Cabins are basic (eco-resort) but you don’t need much. Beds were very comfortable, and clean. Pool was refreshing, nice to sit around and have the sun warm you up. March flys can be a bit annoying but such is life in the bush. We did the platypus late afternoon tour, and although we only just saw them in the distance, it was a peaceful, good experience. Would love to go back in platypus season. Thanks for the memories Hidden Valley.

A wonderful stay in the paluma range NP region. Bonnie and Ian were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcomed. Rustic cabins were clean and had everything we needed. Platypus tour was great fun! Ian was very knowledgeable about the local wildlife and a great guide helping us spot the elusive platypuses. We used the camp kitchen to cook dinner and enjoyed our meal around the camp fire with other lovely guests we met. There is also a restaurant onsite if you don’t feel like cooking. We had some delicious homemade breakfast made by our hosts the next morning! Shame we didn’t have more time. Would have loved to stay longer. Thanks for having us!

Absolutely loved our stay. Can't wait to go back. My family built part of the original cabins and it's beautiful to see some new life and a new family take it on and bring so much love to it again.
