What can I say about Ashley Douglas Jewellers, The level of service, professionalism, craftsmanship and genuine good nature has given me a great experience and an even better engagement ring. Doug immediately put me at ease when I first approached them, quite nervous and clueless about the process. He talked me through step by step, so I understood the complications of the design and made sure we kept the ring strong to last a lifetime. we kept within the budget and I never felt pushed to do more or spend more. Nothing is ever too hard or difficult and they will go over and above to ensure you get exactly what you are looking for, You took my vision of what the perfect ring would be for my partner and made it a reality in the best way possible. Truly a flawless experience, something I will remember as part of an amazing journey I am about to go on with my fiancé. Purchased a double-halo custom engagement ring and was incredibly impressed at the quality, craftsmanship, and beauty of the ring. I worked primarily with Doug but he also works with his son, Ashley and they do everything they can to create the perfect ring for each customer. It was such a relief to be a part of every process of the ring design. From the diamond selection, to the hand sketches, to the cad designs, Ashley and Doug made sure that the ring was going to be exactly as we wanted. And sure enough, it by far exceeded our expectations. Doug was willing to make changes throughout the whole process and wasn’t afraid to let us know what would and wouldn’t work practically speaking. They have such a knowledge of ring design and have a very special business. If you’re looking for any jewelry in Brisbane then this is the place you must go! A little bit nervous and intimidated by the general environment of the Brisbane Arcade Shopping Mall while thinking about the entire process of custom making a ring for the first time, I summoned up the courage to walk into Ashley and Douglas' store based on the high praise from various reviews.The reviews surely do not lie, the two gentlemen almost immediately put me at ease and walked me through step by step and in great detail of the process with the purchasing of a custom ring. The talk of quality and craftsmanship filled me with a great expectation of the final product.After a couple of weeks, the ring was ready for collection, I believe it is safe to say that the finished ring actually exceeded my expectations. The ring was completely as described during the design phase, making it an absolutely beautiful and unique piece. And despite it having such an intricate design, both the band and the bow were evidently made very solid and no corners were cut. I was also greatly impressed by how reasonable the price and turnover were for this project.Due to my desire to surprise my partner with this ring, my carelessness in giving an approximate size to Ash resulted in the band being too large. Fortunately, Ash and Doug offered to help us correct the size of the ring quickly and free of charge, reassuring us that these aspects were all part of the professional service they provide. In fact, it was this level of aftersales support that has impressed me the most thus far. Any further minor issues or questions I had even now were all swiftly remedied and answered. Safe to say, this level of service from the beginning to even after the end are hard to come by nowadays.Thankyou once again to Ash and Doug, I look forward to seeing you again when we are ready for our next project.

Purchased a custom-made diamond & platinum ring from Ashley to surprise my wife with on our wedding day.. Excellent service all the way through from concept & design and ensuring it was completed & perfect despite my short timeframes. The ring is simply stunning thanks to its simple elegant design, and is absolutely adored by my wife (and is a perfect fit!). Highly recommended.Ashely Douglas has designed and custom-made both of my diamond knife-edge wedding and eternity rings.Both rings needed to precisely match and be designed to fit perfectly against the shape of my engagement ring.I was so very impressed and appreciative to learn that Doug came out of retirement to set the diamonds in my eternity ring (which was beautifully made by Ashley) so they would perfectly align with the diamonds in my wedding ring that Doug also set back in 2016. The attention to detail is incredible and I honestly can't tell the 2 rings apart.If you're looking for good value custom-made jewellery from genuine, honest jewellers with superior craftsmanship abilities then look no further than Ashley Douglas.
