Bellarine Basketball Stadium

As a local basketball league refs are sub par and the whole competition has deteriorated over the past 5 years div 1 men's is comparable to div 3 back then

First time visiting. I was very impressed by the stadium.

Cold stadium in winter. Bring a blanket. However very nice home supporters with beautiful sausage rolls after game to warm up

The seating is ridiculously steep

Good basketball stadium, 4 courts with a canteen and seating. I'd like it more if my team didn't lose so often.

been apart of Bellarine Baskbetball for the past 11.5 years & what a journey it has been :)Representing our little ,(but rapidly growing) Association as a referee for the following: Local domestic Senior Mens D1 , MUVJBL-Junior Panel (Vic Championship Division), CBL, BigV. However , from Age 15 I started playing junior basketball , then women’s on a Tuesday night..... soo much has changed , expanded & improved during those years !!BPBA started off with a handful of VJBL REP SQUAD SIDES, in 2018 , have entered approx 18+ teams.At Bellarine , we have a good working management team , Referee Advisor & our referee’s are improving and progressing with a major focus being on our Association developing and strengthening its referees :)friendly , approachable , Stadium & canteen staff. Hot Foot , Coffee , Cold Drinks , Game Tickets , Referee Gear & Other Canteen Food Available on Competition Nights.Domestic Competition hours (junior Games)MON-THURS (JUNIOR/SENIOR DOMESTIC)games start from 4:00pm - approx 9:40pmFRIDAY NIGHT (VJBL) stadium opens around 6pmgames start from 6:40pm - up to 11:00pm

Great local facility where young people can gather to play sport.

I usually visit this stadium twice a week for kids Basketball. One thing worth mentioning about this place is DRESS ACCORDING to the weather. If it has been a hot day it will feel like a sauna. Likewise a warm coat in winter (if you are spectating like me).The kiosk is good though! Nice range, cheap enough. There's a drinking fountain where you can fill up drink bottles. Usually enough parking. Good staff.

Great big noisy building, for the kids to burn up energy.Well structured training system.
