The food was tasty and the staff were friendly but unfortunately I found it to be very unlike authentic Thai food. It was much more like a commercial franchise of Australian food masquerading as what people expect to be Thai. Unfortunately likewise were the prices that were charged - it was certainly not financially unreasonable as far as a restaurant goes in Ballina but it was definitely not what I would consider to be paying for what you get.To sum it up it was certainly not an unpleasant experience and I am glad I tried it but I hesitantly say that I doubt that I would return.

If you want a great Thai meal you can’t go past the Redwok. Awesome food, great views of the river and lovely staff. The meals come out quickly and the price is affordable. We are regulars there.

Loved the menu, try the Fish Cakes or Spring Rolls for an entree then either Sweet and Sour Fish with Mixed Vegetables or the Roast Duck Curry. Very relaxed and comfortable setting with friendly, attentive staff. Plenty of off street parking.

Standard food covered in sugary sauces. While the location near the river is nice, the interior decor is very plain .

I was just out for dinner with my family and had amazing and wonderful service. The staff are beautiful, the food was amazing! There was a self entitled rude gentlemen carrying on over a 50c container and being quite rude to the waitress, who he kept calling the restaurant manager, when she in fact wasn’t. She handled herself extremely well and still put a smile on her face to serve the next table! We haven’t been to redwok in a while, but will definitely be back soon

One of the worst Thai Basil's I've ever had. Tasteless and watery. With undercooked, stretchy and pale beef. Huge chunks of uncut vegetables.$30 for a take away single dish and rice. $10 more than your average Thai.Definitely won't be returning. So disappointing.

Amazing Thai dishes. Loved both pad thai and cashew chicken. Nice ambiance and great service. Definitely a place to visit when in Ballina!

Absolutely fabulous! From the freshest and tastiest Thai cusine to the friendly and fast service,we couldn't be happier with our delicious meals ! The meals were quiet generous servings and were so satisfying ! . Beautiful river views !. Highly recommend.
