Discount Picture Framing

Have done a fantastic job with framing and canvas paintings.

Totally unsatisfactory service. Not only did they get the colour of the mat board wrong but then tried to convince me that the colour they had mistakenly used was in fact better then my original choice. I found this to be very rude. On top of framing my picture with the wrong colour mat board they also framed the drawing centrally which I had specifically asked them NOT to do, thinking, as the artist, that it looked better with more space above. The personal preference of the framer should NOT EVER override the requests of the customer. A very expensive waste of my time as I now have to take it somewhere else to get it re-framed so the framing does the drawing justice and so that I can look at it without getting angry. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.

I've had three prints framed here and they've all turned out fabulous. I just picked up a special print of two cockatoos today and it has turned out so beautiful, with a walnut wood frame and a lovely 65mm white border. Definitely recommend!

A big thank you to Tony for exceptional service today! Dropped off an emergency job late yesterday afternoon and it was in my hands at 10am this morning! The picture looks terrific, thanks again.

Got me there under false pretences.I emailed John my framing size and requirements and was given a price back in writing.I took my print with the quote and was told that he heard the sizings incorrectly, even though I didn’t call and I had his written quote in hand.There was no effort to honour their quote and John didn’t have the decency to face me and apologise for giving me a bogus quote and wasting my time going to his shop. I don’t live close so was a considerable amount of my time that could have been more positively spent.This is all after they left me standing in the shop for at least 10 minutes unattended before appearing from out the back of the shop, even after I called out to them twice prior.Do yourself a favour and don’t go there. You may have the same regrets as I do.Thanks for your response to my review. No need for me to make up stories, simply sharing my experience so other unsuspecting customers don’t fall into the same trap.Anywhere other than your shop would honour their error.

In response to the only bad review I have ever had in 34 years in this shop, in my defense, I was polite and most apologetic and admitted the mistake. I offered to rectify it by re-framing the artwork with the correct colour mat. I was not given the chance to do so. I also refunded an amount of $30.00 and apologized most profusely. What more could I do.

Amazing, friendly, professional service from start to finish. Went in with some photos to get framed for a gift, they helped me work out a design, while taking a lot of care and time. Got a message saying it was ready a week later, so I went in. I noticed one of the photos was slightly out, less than a millimeter. They said come back in an hour and we’ll fix it straight away. No if’s or buts.Couldn’t recommend enough, if you want a professional job and service! Thanks very much :)
