Bought a integrated dishwasher, was sold it with the idea that Miele makes appliances that will last a long time. It sat in storage with our kitchen company as they designed and built our kitchen. After just over 2 years of use stopped working with an error code. We phone Miele to fix it thinking it would have a warranty that would cover it. Not the case just got charged over $300.00 just to have it intermittently come up with another error right after it was so called fixed.The technician left 2 large gauges/scratches down our cupboards and left without telling us (very unprofessional) was told to send photos of the damage and pay the bill and once Covid is better they will send someone out and they would wave the call out fee. I don’t like doing this as once they have your money it’s hard to get a resolution.I paid the bill and sent photos, and of course no response back.I have 2 large gauges/scratches down to the wood of my cupboards and a expensive appliance that has a bare minimum warranty and has extremely expensive parts that can only be sourced from

Extremely disappointed in Miele service! I first called in November about our coffee machine that had a fault, the wait time was 2 weeks and when it came to the day the technician was supposed to arrive, i got a text saying he was sick. I then had to call again and wait on hold for another 20 minutes as i had done the first time. The two week wait occurred again, and the technician had to order a new part. The new part was ordered and did not arrive until the new year. We called Miele again and they informed us that all jobs are wiped from their system at the end of every year. Miele had to track down the technician with the part and we had to wait another two weeks for him to come. Today, the 25th January, the service technician FINALLY arrived and was extremely rude, with his behaviour being entirely unprofessional. He tried telling us he couldn't do the job because of our problems which were later found to not be a problem at all. Now, we apparently need a different part and will have to wait another two weeks for the next technician to come. It's very unfortunate that a decent brand can be dragged down by their ill mannered employees and poor customer service.

Can't comment on the Brisbane experience centre itself, but the Australian branch of the company gave us horrible service, which is surprising given the brand reputation and the premium you pay for their products.We pre-purchased (fully paid) a new Miele dishwasher in December 2021, with the expectation that we would be getting it installed when our kitchen renovation was finished - due to COVID, flooding, etc.. that was delayed by 6 months. We contacted them several times, and they said there was no problem holding it for us and that they only needed 2 days notice to deliver the unit to us. So... when our new kitchen was to the stage where the plumbers were coming in, we called and ... surprise! Miele had given our unit away, and the replacement stock would not be available for another 7 months. They could not even give us a replacement/upgrade unit. So not only were we left high and dry 3 days out from needing the unit for installation (after fully paying for it), but we will now have to spend more cash and wait longer again to get a new front made to another brand's dishwasher that we needed to buy instead (being fully integrated units, the cabinet panels often need custom sizing). And to boot, every time we needed to call them we ended up waiting for 20 minutes plus, with the resulting customer service reps giving us zero solutions or showing any level of accountability for their screw up.Their products might be good, but for the premium price you pay you get terrible service - go with another high-quality brand that you can get more cost-effective products with just as good if not better quality, reliability and (in our case) +3 years warranty on top of what Miele could provide.

So excited when I bought a Miele Cleansteel dishwasher in Jan 2017. Firstly whenever I buy an appliance I always extend the warranty and do my research. Apparently when buying a Miele dishwasher, regardless of the retailer you go through, you have to go direct to Miele do extend the warranty. My fault as I wasn't aware of this. My dishwasher just recently died and to repair it, it needs a new main PCB, wash pump motor and connector. Cool except $1600 later. No thanks. We have really only used the machine for 2 years with 1 additional year of it being in storage due to building our new home. It has been functioning perfectly for two years in our new home. Dishes always came out dry and sparkling. We also made sure we maintained it and used the correct dishwasher liquid. When the repair guy inspected the machine, there were no signs of bugs that may have tampered with the panels. Let's just say I have always been told what an outstanding product Miele is. Unfortunately not in this case. Sorry Miele but can't say I will purchase your product again. Regards Jenny Smallwood, Bokarina Qld

My friend had a terrible experience having had a Miele washing machine delivered from Miele direct .The delivery servicemen held no responsibility for instillation, placing the heavy machine in the laundry or giving any instruction what so ever . My friend then tried to install it herself and left one and was not alerted to safety features on page 58 .A consequence of this was that one of the metal bars was left in causing a massive consequence to her new home.The noise from the first use due to the metal bar being left in caused severe emotional trauma to her beloved cat which has caused ongoing anxiety issues requiring to be treated.Appalling service and no warning for purchaser to prevent this situation .

Hi, please advise how I call for service as unable to get Miele wall coffee machine to acknowledge I have emptied container and filled water container. It's been 3 days and it still will not acknowledge the love I have shown it!
