Optimise Learning

Optimise Learning is outstanding. I’m actually reticent to write this review as I don’t want the word to get out - but they deserve it! We have struck gold. Tracey and Peter bend over backwards to assist my daughter and to help her in improving her core skills and more importantly confidence. In just a few short months she has come along in leaps and bounds, to the point that her teacher has independently remarked upon the high quality of tutoring she is obviously receiving. And she adores her tutor - he is kind, supportive and highly knowledgeable. Sessions are highly convenient seeing as we do them from home, remotely. I am immensely grateful to both them, and to the lovely person who referred us to this wonderful business. It’s just fantastic.

I am so thankful to Optimise Learning for working with both of my children to successfully build their understanding of and confidence in mathematics. Optimise Learning have taken the time to understand the learning needs, learning styles and personalities of my children and have connected meaningfully with them. The lessons are delivered in a flexible, kind, relaxed, personalised and engaging manner. My children have never enjoyed mathematics but both really enjoy their lessons with Optimise Learning. As a tutor, I have greatly enjoyed being part of the Optimise team. Tracey is one of the most brilliant teachers I have ever come across, I feel so fortunate to have been recommended her. My daughter was a reluctant reader, and so we engaged Tracey to work with our daughter to assist. She has not only improved my daughter's engagement and fluency in reading, but she has built up her confidence as a reader and learner. She loves her sessions with Tracey, is fully focused, and always happy afterwards. Tracey's experience and wisdom has also been beneficial to us as new time parents navigating school education for the first time, reassuring us that children learn in different ways, pointing and affirming the potential our daughter has, and what we can do at home to optimise our daughter's learning. Fantastic tutors for all abilities including gifted learners. From teaching my 4-year-old to read during Covid-19 lockdowns to providing vigorous enrichment opportunities to my eldest child - my experience with Optimise Learning has been top notch. They are a genuine highlight of his week, and the flow-on positive effect in his happiness and confidence is wonderful to observe. During the one-on-one lessons, our child has developed a very positive relationship with his teacher, and this connection has been crucial to a great learning experience. It is obvious that there is a high level of preparation prior to each lesson, as the teaching and learning is so individualised, and we have confidence that the teacher precisely understands our child's ability and learning level at any given time. We appreciate this, as it has allowed our child to skip over content he already knows and to spend more time focusing on what he needs to learn. The content is directly taught, with brain-compatible teaching, and new learning is consolidated through successive lessons. One of the most valuable aspects to us is that our child is truly learning ‘how to learn’ - which is brilliant. We have learned a great deal ourselves from the teacher sharing research and information on how the brain learns best.We have found the online lessons to be a huge boon, as not only is it convenient, it seems to improve concentration and definitely enhances the ‘fun’ element. We also appreciate the parent portal as we can see detailed information and progress reports on what our child has learned in every lesson.We are so thrilled that we found Optimise Learning and it has been such an excellent opportunity to enhance our child’s learning. We’ve recommended them to loved ones around Australia and are genuine in our enthusiasm for the consistently high level of care and teaching that creates such quality learning. Peter is a fabulous and engaging tutor. His lessons were tailored to my son's interests and he was able to connect with my son exceptionally well. Highly recommend!

Optimise Learning has recently assisted my daughter to really improve her confidence and ability in reading and spelling. Since beginning her weekly lessons with Optimise, my daughter has gone up 9 reading levels in a very short time. I think this is because her tutor makes the lessons enjoyable and caters to her specific learning needs. Also Optimise's online approach meant we could continue our daughter's reading lessons during the recent COVID lockdown. I can highly recommend Optimise Learning's online tutoring lessons.
