The place is very elegant, Iiked the interior design. It's located in the heart of the entertainment centre and very convenient.Parking is easily found. The variety of drinks is good. The staff seemed stressed or overworked. I wouldn't say they weren't friendly but they just seemed not to enjoy being there which is understandable. The security wasn't the friendliest as well not rude like other places but clearly was having a bad day.I would still go there again

Fantastic little place for a small kind of party.... Just your closest 200 friends! We had DJ's and a live Band that rocked the courtyard. The fresh air in the courtyard helped with the continuous dancing. Service was good. Well supported by a group of hard working peeps. Next time I am invited to this place for a party I'd def say Yes please!""

This pub does some awesome food - the beef burger was perfect with fries and the potato skins were so addictive! The flat bread with Italian sausage was also amazing!

Wowee. One of the best roast pork rolls I've had! The burger for a pub style venue was also quality and value for $26! Recommend for sure if you're in the EQ area.

Expensive, Poor atmosphere, good for a quick gathering before the football game, thats about it. Don't go there if you looking for good quality, well feed meal. We got chicken schnitzel ($26, probably the only OK dish), burgers ($22) and bangers and mash ($26) bith were small portions for the price. Coke were $5.

We’ve been to the EQ on numerous occasions before or after a footy match and always keen for a bite to eat. We love that the pub has been revamped as Watson’s with a brilliant new menu and drinks to boot. The space is huge and suits all crowds, whether it be a group of friends for drinks, a girly catch up, work lunch or family outing. It would also be well suited for larger celebrations and the whole feel is comfortable and casual and we love that you can dine outside in the beer garden under the trees, lit with fairy lights. The interior is vibrant with dark wooden joinery and navy tones, a sleek bar and big screen for the sporting action. The two storey venue also has plenty of room inside with a bistro area or upstairs area with a function space overlooking the beer garden and Hordern Pavilion. The menu here has all your pub favourites, that use quality seasonal ingredients, cooked well and served beautifully. Head chef Uriel Kilala has put together a great menu that will suit all crowds with small starters, burgers, schnitties, steaks and salads. There’s also dishes to share like their flatbreads or Cobb loaf, and even 1kg Ranger Valley Black Onyx Grain Fed Rib Eye.Watson’s is also family friendly with a kids menu that offers more than just chicken nuggets. There is even a Rigatoni Lamb Ragu or tacos. We shared oysters, the salmon ceviche tostadas, a parmy, rib eye and the lovely roasted cauliflower salad! The food was all of a high standard and really well suited to us sharing. The menu is also well suited to having a drink or two and there’s a great range of beers by the bottle and on tap, wines and cocktails. We had a pale ale, sour and a darn good espresso martini. We think the venue is a great place for your next outing and suggest arranging your next catch up here!

Average to say the least. Funky tasting beef in the nachos, prepackaged guac with sour sour cream. The chicken burger was more oil than burger. Had to pull the chicken out after a while and just ate the cheese and bread. Chips were okay. Coke was more syrup than drink. Feel rather ill now tbh was hoping for more but left disappointed
