Oxford Falls Cascades
Peaceful little corner. Not worth spending a day or a destination scenic spot but ideal for a visit if you are close by.I couldn't find a safe way to go to the bottom of the fall. Recommended a DSLR camera for better exposure.

Pleasant little Falls which has a small 4 car, car park. Many levels to the waterfall which you can walk down. I wouldnt come here for a day trip but if you are in the area (there are some good walks locally) it's worth stopping off for a quick look and to hear the peaceful water and trees

Very easy to get to these falls. There is a small car park right beside the river that 4-6 cars can fit in. The parking spot is 20 metres from the first cascades. When the flow of water is not too big you can walk all the way down to the bottom with some little climbing to be done. It can be slippery while getting down so be careful. It was well worth climbing down to get the beautiful view.

Enjoyed finding these cascades within the suburbs of Sydney. I wasn’t able to find a path down to the lower end of the cascades for more photography but haven’t spend a lot of time looking for it. I tried it from the left side, walking down, and that appeared a bit of a dead end path. Some light rock scrambling from top where I parked my car, gave me some great views. Clearly some more exploring warranted.

Not far from Oxford Falls Rd, this is a seriously easy place to explore during the stress of a 10km lockdown. A short 20m walk from the first right muddy path is the way to go- past a concrete old bbq and then you’re there. Serene and peaceful place to explore with kids 8 and up.Warning- I had no idea where to go when we went to the metal pole with the right arrow on it, so I’d turn back towards to the road and avoid unless experienced. Muddy too after rain.

An unexpected oasis that takes 10 seconds to walk to which rewards you more the more you walk.

Nice and quiet place. Waterfalls are rather small. Good picnic spot.

Oxford Falls Cascades
Amazing little spot, which gets better as you climb down each level to eventually reach a 4 meter waterfall with a secluded sandy minature beach. *Probably advisable not to descend the cascades during, after and especially not BEFORE incliment weather is forecast. Area subject to flash flooding. Suitable footwear a must. Avoid swimming at the bottom pool after rains. Snakes often sighted too.
