Chris built our boat in January 2003 (over 14 years ago) and we have been very pleased with it. I have always taken our boat back to him for maintenance and upgrades which have been completed on time, to a high standard and at a sensible agreed cost - you can't get better than that!

I purchased my Lifestyle X6700 boat about 18 months ago which is a good amount of time to get to know the boat well and consolidate my views. In summary this boat is simply outstanding and the whole buying experience from the boat builder Chris Reynolds at Lifestyle Boats was very satisfying.The Lifestyle X6700 boat is extremely well designed and built. Chris’s work in all areas of fibre glassing, stainless steel, electrical and fit-out is first class. Moreover, it was particularly pleasing to work with Chris, bringing his ideas and mine together, and customising the boat to suit my particular needs. As an example, Chris installed a Minn Kota electric motor on the bow and had no trouble modifying the stainless bow rail to suit this. Other customisations that Chris provided include kills tanks, upgraded bait board, down-rigger fitting, and fresh and salt water deck wash systems, etc.The LIfestyle X6700 ride on the ocean is very good to excellent, depending on the sea conditions. It tracks like it’s on rails and is very stable at rest. The hull shape provides for a very large cabin for this boat size, yet it still has plenty of deck walk around space at the bow. It is extremely safe with sealed underfloor chambers, self-draining deck etc, and the 300 litre fuel tank provides for a lot of range.I use this boat for fishing trips on my own, as well as overnight camping and day trips with the family. It fulfils all these roles admirably. The boat fits comfortably on a tandem trailer which is very easily towed with my Toyota Prado.The X6700 is a awesome boat and I am looking forward to many more years of ownership and good times with this amazing watercraft.

Horrible experience, pulled my old floor up, put a new tank in, and existing tank. Laid the new floor and swore that the tank compartments were water tight.Take the boat out on the water and there's water in both compartments. Knowingly laying the floor and now wanting me to cough up more $$ to pull floor up to fix slight crack in the bottom of the boat. Beware.
