I recently moved with Direct Connect and I can’t recommend their service highly enough! My Real Estate agent suggested I use them and I’m so glad I did. Their customer service staff were extremely helpful and it was all done in one short phone call. They even sent me an email to let me know the status of everything along the way. On moving day everything was connected and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Special thanks to Jacky for being so great to deal with.

I used Direct Connect just before Easter Weekend for a big move. I was so stressed out during my move with the movers, rental offices and still maintaining a full time job! Direct Connect took away for me the biggest hassle; the migration of my electricity and gas connections. Not only did they contact me less than 24hrs after I submitted the online form, but after asking me just a few short questions, they made sure my new house was move ready only a few days after I contacted them. Truly a one of a kind service and I will never go back to doing it all myself. I recommend them to anyone that will listen! Keep up the amazing work you magicians!

Did not advise me they only connect you to the new premises not disconnect from old one, now paying someone else's synergy bill. Would have been so much easier if I had of called and disconnected one property and reconnected the new one myself. Would have really appreciated being advised you don't disconnect, I did ring you up once I received the bill to be advised “only if we are requested to disconnect we do that” would have been nice if it got mentioned to me in the first place. Common sense you think would had prevail that this is required as well. Highly recommend you advise all your customers of this to prevent from happening again. Reading your other reviews seems like I'm not the only person, you should really put a procedure into place.

Even if you fill out your rental application saying you don't want their help or to be contacted by them they continue to call you over and over again. You can even explain to them on the phone when they call that you've asked not to be called and they hang up on you and within a day or two will call again. Have now blocked their number but still get text messages saying I've missed a call from them.

Giving 1 star because you can't give Zero. I got an email telling me they would contact me to which i replied 'Do Not Call', then I got a text saying they had 'received my application and would call within 1 day' to which if replied 'DO NOT CALL' amazingly they then replied via text 'thanks for responding, we will action your request' and after that of course they CALLED. If they are incapable of even following the most basic instructions, I truly fear for the experience of people who trust them to actually arrange connections and disconnections, you'll probably end up paying the electricity and gas bills for everyone in your suburb. Just terrible

Guys please don't use this service. my real estate agent suggested me this is the first time I use them with gas and electricity connection.1) once you move to new address you will be surprise after two months you will get same time two invoice from your energy and gas supplier .if you call them ask why did I receive two bills they will tell you the connection at your old address haven't disconnect until some one has moved in to or if you tell them to disconnect . I said we use the direct connect to for new connection and disconnect . The supplier said it's my responsibility to disconnect.

Had a great experience with Direct Connect for changing our gas, electric, internet, so took their recommendation for a removals service: Whizz removals.I am furious with myself for not checking reviews for Whizz. Totally negligent, close to fraudulent in their disregard of our contract. We booked '3 fully qualified removalists' to move our family home -- they sent 2 men who couldn't carry our heavy furniture. We had given them an inventory and checked the booking twice. The men told me because our furniture was 'heavy' I would need to pay them $350/hour cash. They could not finish on the day, and promised 3 men would return the next morning. The same 2 men turned up. They finished 1 hour before we settled with the new owners of our house. A horribly horribly stressful experience. Price was 3 times what was quoted. Having now seen that all their reviews are similar, I'm appalled they're recommended by Direct Connect

This is the most useless company I have ever had the misfortune of experiencing. Went ahead and used the company on the recommendation of my real estate without checking reviews online... I learnt my lesson. All I got from these scammers was incorrect information, inconvenience and wasted time. Ended up having to call each provider directly to rectify the mess directconnect had created! I have been left frustrated and wondering what they pay these people for.... do yourself a favour and just call companies directly. You will receive much better customer service and peace of mind that the job has been done correctly.

The agent on the phone was rude as when i was trying to connect my wifi and was mansplaining the entire time. Absolutely appalled by this sort of behaviour.
