This place is the best!!! I’ve been coming for a little over a month and have seen so much progress already. I initially started seeing Yanan because I was in a car accident and no doctors were able to help my neck and bodily symptoms. She gave me a very personalized and complete treatment plan that has helped all parts of me come together and begin to heal. Acupuncture in addition to compassionate inquiry therapy has helped me so much gain insight and understanding about myself and my needs, as well as connect with distant and young parts of myself I’ve been glossing over for years. Could not recommend enough!❤️

I've been going to Project Dao since 2019 on the recommendation of a former student. I was exhausted, physically and mentally, from a toxic workplace, an abusive relationship and unresolved traumas. I knew I needed to approach my body and mind more holistically in order to heal, and Yanan has played an incredibly important role for me in this journey. I've had numerous acupuncture treatments with her over the years and more recently as part of the Healing Contract which also included a few sessions of Compassionate Inquiry and Body Movement Therapy with John. The combination of these treatments really helped me get through a challenging year (I was diagnosed in April with severe carpal tunnel syndrome and told I would need surgery; I did the Healing Contract instead and my wrists/thumbs are stronger than ever). I've also had facial rejuvenation acupuncture with Yvette and massage with Rei - both were great. The atmosphere of Project Dao is serene and welcoming, including to my dog, Jae who was always so excited and happy to come with me for my treatments because he could sense the good energy. Highly recommend!

I have been seeing Priscilla for a while now, and she is an amazing therapist. Very caring and supportive, with the perfect treatment at hand for my needs. I feel very well looked after and taken care of and look forward to my sessions each week. I can not recommend her highly enough.

At 35 weeks, I had a pregnancy massage with Ange that was simply divine! Her hands are magic and I definitely recommend pregnancy massage for the third trimester where extra weight and demands on your body lead to aches and pains. She also did some lymphatic drainage techniques to deal with fluid build up in my legs, and I must say the morning after my ankles and feet are not swollen at all!!! It's been at least a month or two that I've had swelling in my legs and feet so it's pretty amazing to have that disappear after only one hour of massage!

I have seen John recently for massage therapy and found him to be friendly, knowledgeable and well versed in relieving soreness and tightness across the body. Excited to try the other services Project Dao offers.

I've had acupuncture, seen the chiropractor and the exercise physiologist at project Dao and had brilliant experiences with all, most importantly seeing a clear benefit to my health. The service is really professional but also very friendly and the practitioners consult with each other to give a holistic treatment that i haven't experienced elsewhere seeing individual specialists.I've also started taking Tai Chi classes with Project Dao and love them! A fantastic way to start mornings and am loving picking up a new skill beneficial to my mind and body.

I had the pleasure of receiving a remedial massage from Angela to alleviate stress/anxiety and pain in knee joints/back. Angela 'read my body with her fingers' and I felt her devotion to her craft as she thoroughly smoothed out the creases of my physical and mental well-being. I especially enjoyed her incorporation of restorative yoga poses in her massage repertoire. Additionally, she provided information on nutrition and suggested a relevant book for me to read. I felt safe and nurtured under her capable hands and compassionate nature. There is no doubt I will be including monthly massages from her in my self-care routine. I absolutely can't wait for the next one, and in fact, I was tempted to get another massage from her the very next day!

I had a great experience with Yanan, John and the rest of Project Dao team across acupuncture and movement therapy. Yanan also treated my tinnitus, which I now experience to be less severe compared to the start of my treatment where I had minimal hearing on my left ear. I cannot thank Yanan, John and the team enough!
