Simon was friendly, attentive, courteous and open, as he attempted to fix our heating system issue.Simon had returned to attend to an issue after a brand new heating system had been installed 10 weeks earlier and was displaying problems, and it was refreshing to have someone speak in plain language and who clearly knew what they were doing and talking about.He worked hard for nearly two hours (under house and outside) on what was a free call-out, and provided me with a comprehensive understanding of what was going on and why - along with photos.Metropolitan is an aggregator - essentially sub-contracting work to a large array of tradies. When you’re unlucky, you can get trades who cut corners, are raw and new or alternatively who have been in the game too long and are less than comprehensive.When you’re lucky - you get Simon. So, ask for Simon if you use this service.

So disappointed with Metropolitan heating and cooling. They came out to service our Brivis ducted heating system on Wednesday. Charged $1039 for 2 hours work and told the system was ok. Turned ducts on this morning and blowing out cold air. Another technician came out today and found a loose wire which blew a fuse Unit had not been cleaned and tested for carbon monoxide which was positive but told on Wednesday it was all good. He capped off the gas so we have no heating and need a new unit. Not good enough

Want to charge $141 call out fee just to quote supply and installation of a split system. Haven't laughed so hard for a long time. Thanks, but no sale.
