Recently had a sleeping bag repaired here, Very unimpressed with the fix job!Would have been better to get just get a patch and do it myself and save almost $50Wouldn’t recommend this company at all from my experience.

Remote Repairs fixed a 30 year old down jacket for me and did a fantastic job. Down topped up, a tear fixed and a wash. All for a very reasonable price and quite timely considering we were in the midst of a lock down. Would recommend to anyone.

We had 2 zips repaired on our large Black Wolf tent & a pair of sailing pants waterproofed. Fabulous strong zips, great workmanship & super friendly staff. I would highly recommended this terrific business with a focus on repair & recycling.

RER have replaced the zipper on an outdoor shell jacket and rain jacket for me, with the quality of workmanship being excellent each time. The team were always very responsive and would respond to my emails within one business day. They were also very professional and the service from filling out the website customer order request form to receiving the repaired items was very smooth. Well done team and keep up the excellent work!!

I had a damaged Arcteryx jacket that I wanted to repair to ensure it was waterproof. I sent photos and asked them to verify this (even after they had the jacket and could inspect it) and they said they could. When I received the product back they had not taped the whole section because their machine was unable to do this location - something I think should have been raised when they received the product. Despite contacting them they said that was the best they could do and did not respond to a follow up email (I'll admit by this stage I was frustrated and rather curt in my response). The stitching job they did was very good but just make sure (I thought I had) that you are 100% clear on what they can and cannot do and maybe hit up a tailor for $10 over $65 here.

Had an Ultra Direction Fastpack 25 that was chewed by the dog. Great support and quick turnaround to repair the straps and toggles via Paddy Palin in Melbourne. Unfortunately the dog had a second go at it, but great service, price and turnaround.

Remote Equipment Repairs brought my wife’s gore-tex jacket back to life. A water test thorough clean and retape. As good as new. Half the quoted price of similar work in NSW. It was certainly worth sending interstate for such a great job.

I washed my gear prior to sending my jackets with a professional water repellent. First it took them three weeks to find my jackets - no appology provided - then I found a $53,- charge for washing my jackets and another $150,- for slider replacements and a few minor stiches (no zipper replaced). They did not want to repair without the wash because according to them the jackets 'stink', even after I explained that this is probably due to the water repellent. So without further communication they sent the jackets back, wasting my time and efforts as well $19 to send the jackets to them.

Could not recommend Remote Equipment Repairs highly enough! I brought in my North Face puffer with a pretty substantial tear and they did an amazing job replacing the panel. The quality of the repair is top notch!

First repair was a BD touring pack with a tear and broken axe retainer, which was repaired good as new, or even better. I just got back two jacket repairs which were also excellent. Sure beats the DIY tape repair option. Cheers guys.
