Pre disclosure; We were close with the team here, they used to let us go in the back room and even watch surgeries! Used to be a great team of friendly staff. This is no longer the case by any means.Edit***The number provided below claimed they could not help me and advised us to contact this vet practice again to speak to the same aggressive person who threatened me with debt collection. Calling the number below was a waste of time, it is just placed here as a generic reply to look like they attempted to help resolve the issue. They send it to debt collection even when paid. Then claimed they didn’t receive it. I have sent screenshots with proof of payment. No apology or acknowledgment.————-Extremely harrassing call received from Kim, the “practice manager” claiming an amount will be sent to debt collector of $80 with healthy pets plus from almost two years ago. She behaved like it was from her personal bank account.First time hearing from them. If there is an amount owing anywhere I am happy to pay it but was met with a nasty, rude, threatening person telling me they’re going to debt collection like I am some sort of criminal.Absolutely horrified with the customer care here. We haven’t attended a Greencross vet clinic in many years after an accumulation of negative experiences, this one takes the cake.

This is the absolute worst vet, I would highly recommend going to literally any other vet! The staff are incompetent even with a simple task as booking in an appointment successfully. What made matters worse is I moved holiday plans to attend a 9:20 appointment for 2 dogs to be told when we arrived that there is no appointment in the system at that time and won’t make a plan to fit you in. The treatment from the staff was disgusting. I would recommend some soft skills and training staff how to book appointments.

Came in with a pet that needed euthanasia. A pet bird. I was hoping my membership with my dog would assist in the expense for this as it was a one time visit for my poor bird. I've rated 4 stars as I know it was outside of their comfort zone to do this sort of this and it was short notice and for that I am very appreciative but I was a bit upset a whole file had to be made for her just to put her to sleep.

I am a healthy pets plus member and I live 800m from this Greencross (Mitchelton) but will drive to Kedron (6km) away to not go back here.A vet at this practice missed a thyroid tumour - did not even palpate the thyroid during the health check - in a cat in the high risk age bracket for the current epidemic of Hyperthyroidism.I reached out to them when my cat was recovering from a critical illness (most likely caused by early stage hyperthyroidism- to long to explain the relationship to these events) - they point blank refused to help as he was “too complicated” didn’t even attempt to suggest other providers and just bailed. Thank goodness they didn’t accept because they were right - the vets working here did not have anywhere near the basic clinical knowledge needed.2 visits ago (I basically just use them to take blood samples for the very talented vet at Greencross Woolloongabba so he has these to hand when he reviews my cat). My appointment was at 8am. I was waiting in the car waiting for them to arrive - they arrive 3 minutes late. I see them walking to the door, the nurse looks at me heading for the door, closes and locks the door then leaves me standing outside on the doorstep until 8.10. We get inside and minutes later a giant dog drags its owner in the door and starts bouncing off the walls dragging its owner like a ballon behind it. My appointment is now 15 minutes late.My cat was on topical Methimazole and responding incredibly well to treatment. This very ill informed vet decided to give me a speech about how topical medication is a worse choice than the the oral version due to difficulty controlling the dosage. This is a 1000% incorrect. 1) the peer reviewed veterinary literature has consistently demonstrated that when topical medications are not working it is due to owner non compliance with the prescribed dosing routine. 2) Dozens of drugs (human drugs - which is the basis for most veterinary protocols) are routinely administered transdermally. Everything from Fentanyl (and many other strong analgesics) - accurate transdermal dosing in mcg/hour, hormone replacement therapy, anaesthetic gels, nicotine patches etc. I would suggest this vet not criticise a treatment plan from another vet, which was working perfectly, reading the patient notes, and updating her pharmacology knowledge to this centuries advancements. Most recent visit. I specifically asked the simple blood sample be taken in front of me. Other vets in other clinics manage to do this for me - I’m an ICU nurse - so not likely to faint or be squeamish. The vet reminds me “I’m the vet you saw last time” - exactly why I know she needs to be supervised and she refuses to draw the blood in front of me and takes Tiggy out the back. If I didn’t really need those bloods for Tiggy’s review next week with the amazing vet at Woolloongabba I would have left.I asked for these results to be emailed to me - they were taken 8am Thursday, it’s now midnight Friday so I guess the $191 cost for a simple blood draw - doesn’t include respecting even the minimum requests of the owner. Thankfully I am a healthy pets plus member - so I didn’t have to pay for her time.

The vets and staff at Greencross are excellent and provide 5-star care for all pets. The rewards program is awesome too. I have saved so much more money than regular pet insurance. I highly recommend Greencross.

I am so glad my cats being looked after by Vet, Kirsty. Clinic staff is friendly and helpful! They are wonderful! The only thing I don’t like is they over priced prescribed medication. A tube of Chlorasone Eye Ointment 4g cost $11.95 at chemist, Greencross Vet charged me over $50.0 (13/4/2022). That is ridiculous!!!
