We had the Ladies from the Asbestos Council of Victoria deliver three Zoom sessions with around 50 students and 5 teachers in each session to our VETDSS 1st year Certificate II Construction students.This was delivered remotely via Zoom due to COVID 19 restrictions and worked really well.All students found this very interesting and they all gained new found knowledge around the risks of Asbestos in the construction industry.The only bit of negative feedback from the students was it was a little bit long (time wise) but as the Construction Department within a Training organisation we would recommend it to all.Thank you Asbestos Council of Victoria we look forward to next year.Corey Ward Educational Manager 1 Construction Department Chisholm Institute.
