The setting lends itself to a lovely ambience. The service is excellent with friendly and attentive staff. Our group of six enjoyed our experience and are sad that this was our last opportunity to visit this venue………unless plans are afoot for something new??

Such a wonderful experience for our family. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, but the food was exceptional, very thought out and delicious! It is such a shame that stumpy gully dining will be closing soon as we really enjoyed ourselves and would have been back again.

Visited for a wine tasting. Fantastic service at the cellar door - the man was very informative, was very personable and had great energy! I wanted to love the wines but unfortunately they were a bit unbalanced for my taste across the spectrum and not for me. On the plus side, they seem to be very accessibly priced for this region. Beautiful dining area so I'd love to come back to eat in the future.

Perfectly positioned dining room to catch a stunning sunset view over dinner. Choosing from a 2 or 3 course menu with Stumpy Gully wines. I had the Beetroot Terrine followed by the Duck and a gorgeous dessert. Watching the sun slowly set over the vineyards was a treat.

The restaurant at Stumpy Gully is a lovely little venue, and we tried a number of items on the menu, including the Duck Egg, Fish, and Beef Cheeks. All of these were delicious, and the egg was the best I've ever had. The service was also wonderful. The only minor feedback I would have is that the whisky gel on the dessert was a bit overpowering.

An incredible dining experience with attentive and knowledgeable wait staff, impeccable and delicious food in an exquisite atmosphere. Very sad that the restaurant will no longer be at the venue however I am looking forward to following Julia and Shane Burke in their new venture.

Stumpy Gully is a lovely dining and wine tasting venue - we visited with 2 friends. The setting is pretty. The restaurant and tasting area are very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful - service was great. They have a modest range of very interesting reasonably priced wines and we left with a mixed case of 13 wines. We enjoyed the 3 course fixed price menu. The Forestry Mushroom Cannelloni, slow cooked Gippsland Beef Cheek and warm buttermilk & pecan pudding were wonder - as good as any 5 star offering in Melbourne restaurants. We will definitely be back.

We haven’t eaten out on the Peninsula for ages. Booked Stumpy Gully on a whim - excellent. A beautiful autumn day set off the great view. Service was great and food fantastic. The wines are really worth a try. Overall top marks and (a bit rare post pandemic) the meal was exceptional value for quality.Thank you.
