Why take a revision seminar?
Engage Education’s VCEseminars equip students with the knowledge and skills to perform strongly on exams. The 6.5 hour course allows our teachers to fully review the curriculum and guide students through all aspects of the exam. Our seminars are held at the University of Melbourne, fully equipped with audio and video capability so students can easily hear the teacher and see the presentation.
Who teaches these seminars?
All Engage VCEseminars are taught by leading school teachers who know a subject's curriculum inside and out. Many of our teachers are exam markers and are able to tell students what they look for in answers and how to avoid tricks and traps in the exam.
Our programs are unique in that as a youth organisation, we have a student who scored highly on last year's exam (many of whom have attained perfect scores of 50!) present in the morning on what study and revision techniques worked for them. The VCE graduate also shares hints and tips no teacher or textbook told them. They'll happily take questions and share their contact details to answer any queries you continue to have about studying up until the exam. No other revision seminar provider offers this.
What do students receive?
Students receive a folder packed full of notes and resources as they arrive. In most cases this is well in excess of 100 pages of notes that will either be covered during the 6.5 hour program, or be useful in studying at home for the exam.
- A detailed and comprehensive set of notes covering all the required course content. These notes eliminate the need for students to spend time writing up personal notes and provide a useful resource to read over to learn the key concepts of the course.
- Updates to any study design changes to ensure you have the most up-to-date information not available when your textbook was published.
- An Engage 2011 full length practice exam. True VCAA style questions covering all key learning aspects of the course.
- Access to fully worked solutions to the practice exam to allow you to improve your answers and see exactly what the examiners are looking for.
- Complete PowerPoint slides to save you time in the VCEseminar. Don't waste time just copying out words from the presentation!
- In-class examples of how to tackle likely exam questions.

Our VCEseminars are the same high-quality like other providers but because we are a not-for-profit organisation with an aim to help students, not make a profit, we are able to offer these valuable seminars for only $52. We believe money should not be a barrier to education and that all students should be able to have access to resources like this.
