Engage Mentoring is a new initiative being launched in 2010 to support Year 12 students make the most of the year and assist in making important decisions for their future.
Students who participate in this program will be assigned an Engage Mentor who, in most cases, is a recent Year 12 graduate. Over nine months there will be a number of opportunities for the student and mentor to meet up and discuss important decisions that are often made during the course of Year 12.
Advice on study techniques, university and higher education, exam preparation and general well-being will all be open for discussion between the student and mentor in the casual, informal meetings. Engage Mentoring will provide students with an external, impartial view on decisions, actions and life.
