The Engage Education Foundation’s VCEseminars provide you with more than just a revision lecture. All VCEseminars are presented by the VCEseminars team and its leading teacher who is well-versed in the discipline. They are joined by a high achieving 2009 student in the subject who will give advice based on his or her experience.
During the 6.5 hour VCEseminars program students are guided through all examinable learning outcomes for the course. The teachers ensure all areas of the course are covered in depth in the VCEseminar, providing students with a deeper knowledge of examinable areas. Students are provided with a copy of the VCAA Study Design for the subject and all knowledge requirements set out by the VCAA are covered during the program.
Each students will receive a detailed and comprehensive set of notes that will cover all the required knowledge to an A+ standard. This will eliminate the need for students to spend time writing up personal notes and provide a useful resource to read over to learn the key concepts of the course. These notes include any changes to the study design to ensure students have up-to-date information – saving students from using old, out of date information found in some textbooks.
Being tailored to exams, the VCEseminars will equip students with a practical understanding of the types of questions likely to be examined on the end of year exams and how to accurately answer them. Students receive a practice exam written by senior VCE teachers who are familiar with questions that have been asked previously of students and common mistakes made. This is coupled with complete and comprehensive solutions to allow students to continue their revision beyond the program.
Students will be guided through tens of exam questions; learning exactly what the examiners were looking for and how to accurately and succinctly achieve full marks. Fully worked solutions for these are provided.
Examination techniques used by high scoring A+ students in the past will be covered and further insight given by a high achieving student in the subject. In many cases students who have achieved Perfect Scores of 50 or high 40’s in the subject will join the teachers to give current students further tips and hints on how to best study and revise for each subject.
Additionally, emphasis will be had on the marks needed to get the Study Score the student wants. A careful analysis of results from previous years will provide students with an indication of what exam score they need to be aiming for to attain their goal. This assists students to set targets and improve confidence levels, allowing them to be able to enter the examination with greater self-confidence and awareness.

All Engage VCEseminars are taught by leading school teachers who know the curriculum inside out. Many of our teachers are VCAA assessors and are able to tell students what they look for in answers and how to avoid tricks and traps in the exam.
Sweet Notes
Students receive a folder packed full of notes and resources as they arrive. In most cases this is well in excess of 100 pages of notes.
