The Saddle Camp
Went to The Saddle Camp and it was such a beautiful experience.We camped there and the package also included breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert so everything was served with love and the food was simple but tasted really fresh.About the horse riding, you will never get such a personalized experience with the horse if you don’t go there.I highly recommend the Show Day Ride for kids 5yrs and older. Our kids loved it and Helen did a great job at teaching them how to enjoy and ride horses.Once again thank you Helen and your family for the hospitality and beautiful weekend.

Wings Wildlife Park
Really nice staff. Nicole was the keeper that did our talks and knew a lot about animals and was super friendly. Cafe seemed great but a few more vegetarian and vegan options would be good.

Kyabram Fauna Park
Did a visit as it was part of Zoo Vic membership.A bit more time needed to establish the same level of experience as for the other Zoo Vic sites.Directional signage, exhibit information and ‘getting to know’ the animals lacking.Much of the older style enclosures. Removed from natural environment and group setting.Watch out for the local birds swooping in the kangaroo area.Will come again in 2-3years

Armadale Reptile & Wildlife Centre
We took our Grandsons and we loved it as much as they did. The snake exhibits are great, the birds are amazing colours and the Park is doing wonderful conservation and animal rehabilitation work. I loved it.

We took an evening tour of Secret Creek Sanctuary which turned out to be a fascinating place with a wide variety of local and endangered native species. It is only able to be viewed with a guide. The guide was passionate about his" animals

Loved it. Great for people who are keen to learn about different types of animals, especially the Native animals of Australia. Kids loved it too. Awesome day out.Might be better to go with food or eat before going as the Cafe was pretty expensive.

Blackbutt Nature Reserve
Bought a friend down from Syd and had a walk around. Can no longer feed the kangaroos as the coin feeding machine is gone, but still a great display of animals considering the price is simply parking. The playground is also rather nice, would be a great spot for a picnic!

Terrific for a walk or ride along the paths through the gums trying to spot the wildlife or just taking it all in. We have biked through to Rhyll where stopped for a coffee and bite to eat before riding back.
